Dr. Merrick noticed a boy outside his room and shuddered. He was right next to the pathogens. "Hey, get out of there," Dr. Merrick cried to the boy. "You need to leave immediately. You are next to deadly patogens."

"What!" Jake rush quickly from the room that he was about to open the door. He rush over to the man. "What are patogens." The boy asked, now watching the man.

Dr. Merrick sighed and said, "Pathogens are biological agents that cause diseases. The ones in that particular room cause the plague that has ravaged our city. You certainly don't want any of that near you. Now kindly please leave." Dr. Merrick had found out how the plague was able to infect people. It was spread through a virus that targetted nerve cells. Within hours of an infection, the victim would be rendered paralyzed.

"Sorry I bother you sir." Jake said. Walking out rolling is eyes making sure the man saw it. The boy walked back to the front room and sat down in a chair. Jake started to think about everthing that had happen during the last few days. He thought back to his parents.

Emma pushed open the door of her house. The men in white suits took her nanny away from the nanny's apartment, where Emma was staying too. Tears rolled down her face, she was so scared. On of the men handed her a small water bottle and a piece of a baguette out of pity. Thanking him, she placed the food and drink in her sweatshirt pocket and gently played with the key to her house that was only 2 blocks away.
Emma pulled her hair out of her face and went to find someone, anyone to keep her company through these dark days. She saw a boy and a girl, the boy was giving the girl water.
"Excuse me." She said to them, "Would you like to come to my house? I have a feeling these streets aren't safe..."

Dr. Merrick was getting closer to finding out the cure for it. He donned on the bio-suit that the medical facility had provided and went inside the pathogen room. But before he could go in, he had to cross a room where bleach would cleanse his suit. Then the doors would admit him into the room where the world's most deadly organisms was stored in.

Jake watch, he moved slow to a near by table and hid under it hoping that he would not hit anything. But then out of no where something fell and hit the floor. He was dead, the man was going to be so mad at him. He was more then dead. Jake didn't get up yet.
