 can't you tell I'm not a Christian....
Well I am yet an open minded one, I am not strick about anything and do not see something like Lordi as `worshiping satan`
But back to the matter at hand, if anyone knows more about the chimera then say so..._________________ Let him curse my name

					| the Sorcerer's Companion for HP has a really good description.
"According to legend, the Chimera was the offspring of the monsters Typhon (dad) and Echidna (mom). As a baby she was kept as a pet by the king of Caria, an ancient land near present-day Turkey. However, there was no controlling or housebreaking the beast and she soon went on a rampage, invading the neighboring country of Lycia. Belching fire and smoke, scorching everything in her path, and carrying off women, children, and cattle, the Chimera was unstoppable."

I just thought of something else. according to the excerpt, it carried off women and children - the traditional epitomes of innocence. that might attribute more to its apparent evil.
