Serisent brooded in an abandoned house that he found ages ago. He was ravaged with frustration and anger over the fact that he, out of millions of people, had be a half human. But he couldn't complain; he was given many useful abilities. He could change his entire body into a snake's form, allowing him to slither through spaces and areas a human would not be able to. He also retained his human consciousness.

[oh are we starting?] Salina walks beside her brother, pistol in hand. "are we even going the right way madoc? you may be half human but id rather kill a human than kill my own flesh and blood..." Madoc smiles at his little sister... knowing how much she has been through since he grew into a half human. "dont worry..."

A little ways away, Alyra and Tamyrie were standing in a sheltered alleyway. "I don't like the city," Alyra sighed. "It makes me feel like a pidgeon."

"I don't either," said her sister. "I would rather be sailing the blue waves! But since we must stay here for now, I'd like you to help me run a few errands."
Alyra agreed. Although she didn't feel comfortable going into crowded buildings, she could tell Tamyrie what to get from each store.

Niaran wandered around, alone. She was hungry and cold, but she was afraid to ask for food and a warm place to sleep, because it was very obvious that she wasn't a normal human. She looked at her tail, and saw that it was totally muddy and dirty. After a while, she saw a shelter and heard voices coming out of it.

Sarlas planned was formed but problems. She was lucky in that she did look like a human. Just a very beautiful one. She clumsily pinned her long smimmery blonde hair up and studied her reflection in the local tailers. Suddenly, something caught her attention, a beautiful dress, a pearly blue, she placed her hands on the glass as if to pull the glass awa but it held her still, captivated. She ran in, nearly breaking the doors bells. "That dress," she panted to the tailers, "I want that dress." As he fitted it, she studied her eyes, they were very pale, vaguely blue, they scared her aswell, she hated them they looked watery. As if in a dream, the the mirror showed her a new reflection, standing outside was a bedragled halfie, another one, she thought lovingly. She gathered her dress, and ran outside. "Scuse me, are you a halfie, if you are, then I can help you, wait a minute," she said running in again and paying the man. "Come with me...."

Rena held the book tight. She wanted so bad to have a friend, but it was a one, in a million chance to find another halfie...

Hailey and her friends, Lilly and Rose, had gotten manicures, then shopped for a couple pairs of shose. Now they went through the book store. Hailey wondered to the back of the store, she scanned the books with her eyes, to stop at an old looking book, with a blue leather binding. the gold letters on the spine had fadded away.

She took the book out, and opened it to the first page. 'Chapter 1'...
"wierd. Theres no title, not even on the cover."..
