"Hope!?"
Curunir asked with a sarcastic yet frightened tone, he grabbed an axe and then looked around the place.
"And... well they actually broke trough the door..."
He said as the door smashed heavily.
"So I suggest we run!"

(A limit of 3 posts in 24 hours? I can live with that Thank you!)
Idril suddenly grinned, seeing the gates of the village ahead as Aragorn lead the way cautiously onto the main road. "Finally... never would I have imagined that it would be such a wearying trip. Not even a two day roundup can match this... of course there's the week roundup, but that's a different story..."
"I beg your pardon, milady...?" the ranger seemed to say that an awful lot, proof of is utmost confusion concerning the 18 year old foreigner.
"Er, nevermind, I'm merely talking with myself..." she mumbled, urging her mare forward to keep up with the long stride of Aragorn.
Soon they were entering through the gates of Bree, though Idril recieved strange looks, her modern day attire attracting attention. Subconciously she ran a hand back through her hair, sitting straighter in the saddle to at least look half decent. She wouldn't wish to be seen as foreign and vonurable. It was bad enough her guide thought her to be strange, and perhaps even insane, but she didn't need people coming up and questioning her endlessly.
"Will we be going to the Inn of the Prancing Pony?" She idly questioned Aragorn, who stopped immediately and turned to look at her questioningly.
"Have you been here before?" He asked in a suspicious tone.
"Er no, not at all, far from it... someone... mentioned it on the road before..." she replied hastily, sighing quietly in relief as the ranger nodded vaguely and turned to continue walking.

THe old woman opened the door of the wooden house. Inside there was burning a fire to keep them warm, and it seemed that everywhere Éowyn S. looked there were horses painted, printed or embroided. The old woman offered her a bowl of soup, and hungry Éowyn ate it.
Just when Éowyn S. finished, the old woman got a rohirric dress for her to change clothes, so that she wouldn't be such an eye-catcher with her jeans and her T-shirt. It was a dark dress, black and grey colours. Éowyn S. has already noticed before, all people in Edoras were dressed in black today. Something strange must be going on!
Exactly in the moment she finished dressing, a wooden horn was blown. The woman grabbed Éowyn S. by her arm and pulled her out of the house again.

"So, come on, quickly! This way!"
While they were running through many different rooms, pursued by orcs, FaZ shouted to his fellow.
"So, do you know how we can get out of this place?"
FaZ was tired. He noticed a wan red light at the end of one tunnel.
"Balrog? Noo, that'd be too much for today..." He thought. "That was a normal fire-brand. For sure."
Suddenly, they saw a huge bridge over a deep and dark abyss.
"Em, Gandalf died here? It doesn't look very dangerous right now..." Whispered FaZ

Curunir grinned.
"Yes.... but a part of the bridge went with the balroq so... that might not have been a fire-brand..."
He looked behind and saw the orcs still coming for them, few began pulling their bows strings.
"Run!"
Curunir said as he ran rather cautiously over the bridge with arrows flying towards over his head.

(this is my last post for today )
FaZ was running after the man. Suddenly, he noticed that the clamour had abated. The creatures were scampering in silence.
"Hey, stop! Orcs are running away!" shouted with excitement. He regained self-control, when he saw that red light coming towards them.
"So, your words are true... Do you think it means that one of us is going to fight with it like Gandalf?" FaZiovsky said with a bit of incredulity in his voice. "We aren't able to beat him... but escape isn't a good solution too... propably..."

Curunir turned to look back with fustrated face and grabbed Faz`s hand.
"Look, we run and soon we are out of here! It won`t follow us outside nor do the orcs, then we are free to run into Lothlorien okay?"

Dark sighed as the small butterfly flapped it's limp wings one last time and collapsed. She lay it gently on the ground and left it. Taking her own path through the woods. She followed a trail that eventually led into the barrow Downs, glad for her sword she continued on through them, ignoring the hills that loomed omniousely above and around her. Faint singing could be heard, and she smiled.
"Tom Bombadil, and Goldberry. Ho! Tom Bombadil, Tom Bombadillo! By water, wood and hill, by the reed and the willow, By fire, sun and moon, harken now and hear us! Come, Tom Bombadil, for our need is near us!" She recited the rhyme that Tom had taught Frodo and the other Hobbits. Smiling she continued on, wary of the approaching night.

(okay... way behind... I'll just go from my last post on page 12...)
Eruraina put her stuff away, such as the food, weapons and blankets. She went through the bag again to find a water bottle. Smiling she took a drink, then splashed some on her face. Erura traded the halter with the bridle on Chyanne, and put the saddle, and saddle bag on.
She used some more of her water to quench the fire. putting that away she went to wake up Mel(she said if she doesn't get on that she would just be going with either me or Elegost, but since he ran off, I guess it's me!). She woke up, and they started out, Eru didn't ride Chyanne this morning. She was too sore from all the riding of the past week.
They went to bree to buy Mel decent clothing, just as she had asked to do yesterday...

(Thank you Eruraina!) EDIT: Okay, if I'm only going to post 3 times, I might as well make them count. *poof* To Bree it is...
When Mel and Eru walked into Bree, Mel's first reaction was confusion. She tried a few times to enlist some help from a passer-by but they gave her odd looks and continued. Mel grinned to herself. "Do I ever need proper clothing," she muttered, looking around. "Okay, well, let's see who's at The Prancing Pony," she said to Eru. "Maybe someone will be a tad more helpful there. And maybe Elegost has a room?"

Suddenly Idril noticed a man dressed in similar fashion to Aragorn step up and the two began conversing in low whispers, casting glances towards her. She raised a brow and strained to hear what they were saying, but to no avail. Grimacing, she glanced around. "Maybe they intend on taking me for questioning or something.... what if they think I'm the enemy! Or perhaps just som freak girl gone insane who needs some "care" and to be locked up..." She shuddered. She always hated the thought of shrinks and knew they messed up your mind... "Do they have shrinks in Middle Earth... Goodness gracious I hope not... I'd be a classic case no doubt"
Just then Aragorn walked over and took the reins of her mare. "Come, there's a friend waiting for you at the Inn, we'll leave you with him and be on our way... "
"Friend...?" The ranger merely nodded to her questioning tone. "Friend? 'him'? Who...? Perhaps there are others who've been stuck here...?" At this sudden thought she grinned slightly. It would sure make it a whole lot easier to manage a decent conversation.
After Princess had been taken to the stables, Idril was practically shuffled into the Inn by the two rangers, but politely one of them had given her an extra cloaked to wear, to avoid gaining too much attention. The main room was bustling with activity, and Idril felt almost as though she were at Lord of the Rings costume party as she peered out from beneath the hood, nearly grinning ear to ear. "This is beginning to be fun... "

(Dark, are you still with the Gandalf & girls group?)
"Are we there yet?" Gwenneth asked, staggering lazily on.
"Patience, Gwenneth," Galdalf laughed lightly and patted her head.
"I just hate all of these little spiders I keep seeing..." Gwenneth looked nervously along the ground. When she heard a few sniggers from the others she retorted, "No, you don't understand -- I am deathly afraid of spiders! I don't know how I'll sleep tonight if we don't make it out of here before night. In fact, I won't! I can't!" She suddenly slapped at her leg feeling a tickle.
"Steady, my dear, it won't be long now," Gandalf reassured Gwenneth, laying a hand on her shoulder.
"I just wish we could have brought horses," Gwenneth continued. "Then we wouldn't have to be so worried about the uneven ground."
But really she was just looking for any excuse to be in touch with one of her greatest loves.
Gwenneth had been horseback riding for four years, back at home, and had become very comfortable on the back of a horse. She rode english style, and jumped. Though she had not her own, Gwen was very fond of the school horses at the stables.

“Here. You must be hungry.” Legolas said, handing Elenriel some lembas bread. “Thank you.” she replied as she slowly chewed on the bread, feeling her strength return. The two sat in silence when suddenly a screech filled the air. “Yrch!” Legolas warned, swiftly rising to his feet. With that he quickly pulled Elenriel up as well, making sure he was between the invaders and her. “Go! Hide!” he commanded, before turning to aid his companions. Elenriel raced no time and hid between the nearest bush, hidden from view yet able to see the approaching battle. Her breath was labored as she grasped the twin daggers Legolas had given her. Please protect them. she silently prayed.
From her secluded location, she watched in awe as Legolas whipped out his bow, and in a blink of an eye fired his arrows at the approaching orc army. His moves were swift and deadly, yet he possessed the grace of his kin. Never had she witnessed such skill in battle. But, at that precise moment, she witnessed something that nearly took her breath away. An orc captain had paused suddenly and took aim at the prince. Elenriel turned quickly to find Legolas busy dealing with the orcs in front of him, unaware of the dangers that lurked in the shadows. Knowing what she had to do, Elenriel quickly stepped from her leafy sanctuary. “My prince! LOOK OUT!” she screamed, warning him as the orc’s arrow shot through the air. Legolas heard her cry and dodged the blow. Yet, the cry cost her dearly as the orcs now turned their attention upon her. She dodged one orc blade and fled from another. “Elenriel! Hold on!” Legolas cried racing back to her. Without thinking she whipped out her blades and blocked one blow while blindly striking out with the other, unsure of what she was doing-her mind crazed with fear. Finally one orc pinned her, his evil eyes glinting with glee. He was about to finish her, when an arrow pierced him and he crumpled over her. Elenriel hastily kicked the body off and retreated back as Legolas and his companions formed a circle around her. The orcs seeing that she was well shielded reluctantly backed away, skulking back into the shadows beyond. The elves did not lower their weapons until they were certain that the fiends had departed. Legolas quickly turned back to Elenriel, and gently grasped her shoulders. “Are you alright?” he asked quietly. Deeply shaken, she slowly nodded her head. “Thanks to you, my prince.” she said softly. “Please, there is no need for such formality. In this short time you have become more than a companion, you have become a friend. Legolas is enough.” Elenriel gave him a slight smile. “Very well. Then, thank you, Legolas.” she said softly. “The prince is right.” an elf solider interjected. “You placed yourself in grave danger to warn our prince. You have proven your loyalty. Forgive me, I was wrong to mistrust you.” “There is no need for forgiveness. I am a stranger in your world, you had reason to doubt me. But we have probably lingered here far to long, we should depart soon ere we are attacked again.” The soldiers nodded, somewhat amused. So young and already wise in war. he thought. “Very well, we will depart soon. The mountain pass is not far ahead.”

A ceremony, dressed all in black again, was marching down from the golden hall, carrying a young man, obvisiously dead. Now Éowyn S. understood all these black clothings, it was a funeral! And as she thought about a funeral, taking place in Edoras, at least she realized:
This had to be the funeral of Theodred, son of Theoden, heir to the throne of Rohan!
Silently she walked together with the old lady, far behind the mourning family members. She recognized many of them: There was poor Theoden, this must be Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli! There stood a tall man, clad in white, sure this was Gandalf! And then she saw her...
Éowyn, White Lady of Rohan. Éowyn S.'s heart nearly stopped beating. She always dreamed about meeting fair Éowyn, and now she was standing about 20 meters away from her!

(Um, I meant if I could save Boromir in the Falls of Rauros)
Boromir and Caunion heard a giant roar in the forest that scared the birds into flying the air. "What in God's..." Caunion began but Boromir urged me to hurry on. "It's a troll. Quick, we have to flee this time," Boromir said. And sure enough the grounds began to shake as a troll came out, roared, began pursuit of us. Caunion feared that the horses might give up before the troll may, but luckily he stopped after a few minutes and turned back towards his home in the forest.

((Where is that said? I didn't know that, and I'm sorry, but I cannot find where this is said, that it only plays in FotR. I believed we just had to go to Rivendell, and it doesn't matter when... ))
