Ceri leaped off Marra's back and swarmed up a tree. She unslung her bow and fitted an arrow neatly. The bow twanged and glanced off the metal feathers. "Damn!" but another arrow was on its way and that flew true. "Run!" she shouted to Lilly and Monisa. "Get under the cover of the trees! There is a going to be a whole flock here in a minute!" She could already see specks in the sky and gasped. "Hurroks!"
(hurroks: carnivorous winged horses)

(Ok! Here I jump in!)
Suddenly another rider appeared from under the trees, bow drawn. She relaced an arrow, which hit a stormwing and sent it crashing to the ground, unttering a terrible screech.
(Wait a sec, do our characters know each other?)

lilly watched as the new rider came out. She did the same and brought out her bow. She drew back, and hit a stormwing in the throught, so it too went falling down, she laced again, and tryed to shoot down a hurrock.
'I'm about to jump, brace yourself' Phillipa herd her horse say in her mind, she did as the horse told her, and Granit jumped over a fallen log...

The fight was in full fling. With the trees in the way the hurroks and stormwings were somewhat hindered, but the same was true for the fighters. Ceri shot arrow after arrow at the hurroks, most of them finding their mark. Then her arrows were spent and she pulled her sword.
(can't remember: do hurroks breathe fire??)

Monisa smiled grimly and halted Zagner just infront of the trees. She raised her hands into the air and began to chant on the Keynote, she sang louder and louder, and as she did so a bubbel formed around the leading Hurrok cutting off its air supply, it fell to the groound screaming, but silent inside its bubbel.

Ceri swore when she didn't have any room to room anymore. Suddenly she heard the Keynote and she cursed herself for not thinking about it before. She intoned a high "b" and the hurroks screamed in frustration. She looked for the others. It was impossible to hold this power alone!

Monisa saw more Hurrocks appear in the distance and sent Tirnano into the air, she focused her voice an octave above the Keynote and he joioned her an octive above that, a great wind flew from his beack and gushed towards them
