As the door opened slightly, orcs' attention were drawn on both of humans that were standing on their way before the door. And Saedd drew his sword and took out the shield. Looked at Simbelmyne.

"So it begins..." answered Simbelmyne and sighed, she also draw out her sword and prepared to fight. The orcs laughed as they saw the two warriors, trying to fight alone against the hundred of them. They stormed towards them.

Rinoa had wanted to join Saedd and Simbelmyne but, Mithrandir told her to stay behind. "Why? Why must we stay? It is going to be no different out there that it will be in here." she said in frustration. Mithrandir looked at her and said, "That maybe but, I want you to keep an eye on Denethor. I have a feeling that he will do something very bad."
"Pippin volunteered to serve Denethor, did he not? He will tell us if something is wrong." She saw that Seadd and Simbelmyne started to draw thier swords. "I do not want to see more people die. The two of them need more support. I will take my small band of remaining warriors and help them out. The rest of the army can follow you." Rinoa then gave a whistle and her small group of remaining warriors followed her out to help Saedd and Simbelmyne.

Saedd moved over the orcs and killed them one by one. It was good that they came one by one. He hit the one who is behind of him with his shield. And punched one from the face and stabbed his sword into the orc. He sweated all over his face. He erased his face by his hand. Turned back to battlefield. And he was frozen. He could not move because the thing that hits to the grand door made him frozen like that. He did not know what else to do. By the way, a group of orcs were rushing to kill him whom Saedd does not know.

Rinoa saw that something was hitting the grand door. She was frightened but kept on fighting. She looked around and saw that Saedd was frozen and that a large group of orcs were going towards him. Rinoa and a few others went to keep the orcs from harming him. "Now is not the time to be fear stuck my friend." she said as she beheaded the orc coming after her. She did not know what else to do but keep fighting. All she hoped was that help would come soon and that she would survive through this battle.

Simbelmyne was shocked by that thing that was hitting the door. Now she understood what the orcs had meant by "Grond". She was sure now: The doors wouldn't hold back so many orcs, they would soon brake by this "Grond".
She tried to concentrate on fighting again, but her fear was growing.

The "Grond" started to settle fear in Rinoa's heart. She thought about how it was starting to break down the door and she began to realize that if the door was broken through the warriors would be overrun. The "Grond" would break through the doors in a matter of what seemed like minutes.
She kept on fighting not wanting to give the order to retreat quite yet.

Mithrandir passed him by his horse. Yelled them to the gate. Saedd was one of them that was running to the gate. The soldiers went downstairs to hold onto the gate. As Saedd approached to the gate, another hit made by Grond. He fell on the floor but contiuned on his way to the gate. There he spotted Gandalf and multiple men who were able to stand on their feet. He took his place in front of the door and took the position just like all solders did. He had a spear on his both hands. He did not know what he will see when the gate was broken through.

Simbelmyne couldn't think clearly, she was too frightened. She held her sword tight, standing Saedd, waiting for the gate to brake. She couldn't yet think of the horror that would come through this gate in a few minutes, She didn't want to think of it.
Grond broke a hole into the gate. One more hit and it would be open.

Last hit made a grand hole in the gate. It was so obvious that they can not hold onto the gate so Saedd waited anxiously as he heard Mithrandir saying that "you are the soldiers of Gondor". He felt good when he looked at Gandalf. All of a sudden, he noticed Simbelmyne standing near him. "Are you out of your mind??" he said. "Return back to the citadel. It is not the place Simbelmyne. Go upstairs and stay away from the danger."

Saedd seeme crazy in his face but she was right. Saving a life of the girl would not make him a hero. So he said "fine" hardly and he turned his gaze back on the door. "Just stay with me so I can give you a hand when you are in the danger". He finished his speech as he concentrated on and started to wait for the thing that comes through the gate.

The elf urged the black horse down through the city towards the sound of the battle. Her sword hung limp in her hand, and her eyes were dim- even empty as if she cared not what should happen to her.

Five trolls rushed in, followed by uncountable orcs.

Saedd courageously positioned against the orcs and killed them but there was no way that he is gonna kill the trolls especially after they send 5 soldiers in a row sent out flying. But stood still on his ground. Leave the spear on the ground. Draw his sword and waited for the troll came over him. Troll got closer to him. It tried to hit with his stick but missed. Saedd jumped over the troll which disliked it really. Tried to get rid off Saedd. However, he moved right and left not to be caught. And at last, he stabbed his sword into troll's back. And after a while, they were both on the floor. Troll was dead after all. He looked for Simbelmyne.
