without being a geek,
'cause there's way more to life
than the popular clique.
Joining the band doesn't make you uncool,
It's those who say otherwise who are the fools.
Join a team, or a club, or try out for the play,
Don't wait any longer, go for it today.

You don't have to be great, just get out there and start.
And whatever you do, let it come from the heart.
Be it music, or writing, or drama, or sports.
Youd don't let anyone ele make you think you fall short.

Very good. Deals with a contemporary issue that agravates me so much. So many people seem to be driven by the need to be 'cool'.
However, sometimes, a poem does better when the meter from line to line is more equal, and without rhyme. Sure, have it rhyme if you can make it do so without forcing it and unbalancing the poem. I always prefer poetry that sounds smooth and well oiled than poetry that rhymes.

But yeah, I like that, it's a good read. Good job

beautiful! really great! I've been so uncertain about myself for years and it's getting a little better lately, but still I have a major selfconfidence problem. This poem is really good for that!
