					| I just recently read Girl with a Pearl Earring by Tracy Chevalier. I loved this story, did anyone else like it?
My favorite character was Pieter the Son.

					| I've read it several times Very good book, although there were some severely messed up characters. Not as in un-well-developed by the author, but just in their choices and actions and stuff. Still a good read, and I liked how it developed just around the painting._________________

					| I agree, it was a really good book. I recently finished reading it also. My favorite character was Griet.....I didn't like Pieter the Son, because I kind of thought he manipulated Griet in bad ways sometimes. It was weird how all of a sudden Griet felt this kind of freedom when 'he' saw her hair down and then she..........okay ya'll know what happened. It was a good book overall though I would definantly read it again.

					| Yes I have read it! I like it very much! Think I got it recommended by a friend.
Elwaven, that's really cool! Your mum's friend's friend... wow.

But I don't quite understand Griet. I can't always follow the way her mind goes. Can't someone make me a kind of character sketch?

					| Oh really? I thought it was a movie. It's a book? Hmmm, then maybe I should read it. Does anyone recommend it? It sounds interesting. Must be a girl with a pearl earring right?
Oh I'm so smart!!! Well, I'll think about borrowing it at the library tomorrow. _________________

					| I've read it and I thought it was quite good, just a bit slow - or maybe that was the film I've seen that too.
Anyway I didn't like it nearly as much as the other one I read by her: Falling Angels

					| Naah I wasn't so fond of Falling Angels... I couldn't get the image of England after Queen Victoria... _________________

					| I liked Girl with a Pearl Earring as a book, but thought that Colin Firth was the only good thing about the movie I liked this other book by Tracy Chevalier too *tries to think of what it's called, fails*_________________

					| ^^maybe the Lady and the Unicorn?
I must buy the film! just been released here! I know, Denmark is a stupid country. They waited over one year to show it in the cinemas here and another 100 years to release it on dvd.
