"So your plan has been disapproved by Beriadan, Meleth?" she asked. The light of the fire played on her golden locks of hair. "Is there nothing for us to do than wait?"

Meleth smiled slightly. "You could say that." An idea was sparking behind her black eyes, but she said nothing yet.

Miriel remained silent. She looked at the fire and the persons surrounding it; all having their own thoughts. Miriel played shy with her hair lock for a while and than shared her thoughts: "Couldn't we just volunteer for an expedition? I would volunteer" She stared at the ground.

"That is somewhat the idea I was trying to get across," said Meleth. "I do not think Beriadan would condone it..." she trailed off for a minute. A slight smile curved the corners of her mouth up and she said very softly, "...but then again...need he know?"

Miriel looked upon Meleth and saw lights tinkling in her eyes. Miriel's mouth formed a frolic laugh: "That could be an idea that might work" She looked quickly around whether Beriadan could hear her. "What do you propose?"

Meleth shook her head. "I'll tell you about it later, when some others have retired for the night." She felt a twinge of guilt for deceiving the Dunadan but banished the thought. It's for the best, and besides, we can all take care of ourselves.

Well, they are trying to come up with a way to spy/observe the enemies' plans, and it's easier if they're sort of off the main road where they won't be noticed.
Not really, it's directly south of Osgiliath and above South Gondor. It's not really close to Harad, Harad is more south of Mordor.

It's to the south of Ithilien, where the river Poros crosses the Harad Road.

Miriel felt a sudden feeling of hestitaion, but tried to surpress it. She had been with the Dunadan for a long time, she had known moments of grief and danger. Still she couldn't completely ignore this feeling, a feeling of doubt. Would this time things work out not as fortunate as in the past?

Rye sighed and threw her apple into the dying embers of the fire before turning back to her tent, prepared to get a good nights rest for whatever decision Beri and Meleth decided.

She had not known the Dunadan for long but she knew that after a long disscussion they would choose the right path to go around this new threat.

"Good night Meleth, Miriel. Inform me on any major decisions."

"I will." Meleth nodded to Rye and stared into the fire, her thoughts whirling. "Does anyone else have any suggestions?" she asked quietly.

Miriel looked up. "It wouldn't be wise to send out too many people. The chance of discovery would be much bigger both here and in the camp of our enemy." She paused. "Of course, if our mission succeed we need to accept the consequences of leaving the Dunedain now"

Meleth looked around. "There must be hundreds here - surely if we go we will not be overly missed. I will talk to Beriadan. Maybe we can come up with a way for both of us to feel satisfied - though any other ideas would be welcome."

The large black horse, thundered through the forest. They clattered up to where the tent[s] stood. The tall elf quickly dismounted, stumbling into a thorn bush. With a shout she fell over. Glaring daggers at the horse, she pulled herself up, gingerly plucking random thorns ot of her arms and legs.
