"Impressive," Icefire said, bowing his head. "Now, I would like for you to transport this cube." He extracted a rock cube. "From my hand to the desk without physical contact or contact with the desk and my hand." He wanted to see the few things she could do before he moved on to the next one.

I was cured all right.

"If you need to, you can lay up here." she blurted it out before her brain could catch up " I mean, you shouldn't really be walking about if you're gonna be woozy. You could pass out anywhere"

"Well I wouldn't want to intrude, and Havok might think we're up to something..."

"He can go to hell for all I care. He should have thought about that when he was off with his flatscan floozy. Get your boots off I dont want them all over my bed." Kim stated flippantly.

It took him a while to unbuckle all the straps on his boots. He slipped them off and fell back on the double bed, laying and the side closet to the door. His long body was too big for this bed, his feet hanging over the edge.
"Thanks."
He felt a surge of the drugs affect him again and fell asleep.

Kim picked up the chair that had landed on the floor next to her bed.
No damage she mused to herself as she put it down and sat on it.
Smiling as she watched her friend sleep.

The sleeping giant murmered in his sleep uttering the odd coherent word.
His dreams were pleasant for a change. It was a perfect world, no humans, no X-Men, just those loyal to Apocalyspe, and by his side was Kim. They embraced each other, hand in hand. Everything seemed perfect. His facial expression reflected this, but then a shadow loomed. Havok entered the dream and killed Tempest. Lucifuge could do nothing. He was frozen on the spot, the young X-man from before. His limbs were stuck in place. He cried out in his dream.
In the real world Lucifuge called out.
"...Tempest... please... no!"

Kim had just started to drift off into a deep sleep when she was woken by John crying out her name. "John? What's goin on?" she asked, her voice filled with worry. She got off the chair and sat on the edge of the other side of the bed.
"Are you okay?"

He sat up with a start. He breathed heavily and looked around, seeing Kim he sighed.
"Oh Kim... Sorry to worry you, just had a bad dream..."
He lay back down and turned away from her.
"It doesn't matter."

Kim reached out her hand before pulling it back to her. Changing her mind again she reached out to him.
"Big guy, you're not the type to get nightmares. Please..just talk to me"

He sighed.
"It's none of your concern Kim, trust me it's too odd."
He closed his eyes, seeing Kim's dead body again. He grimaced and shuddered.
"Just forget it."

Kim slowly pulled her hand back "Okay, but you know I'm here if you need to talk. Doesn't matter what it is."
She watched him with real concern in her eyes, she'd never seen him this vulnerable before. She thought about going back onto the chair next to the bed. unstable she rationalised in her head.
Opting to rest her head where she sat.

Lucifuge wiped a tear from his eyes, something he had never done since he became a Prelate. He cursed under his breath and turned to see Kim sleeping. He sat up and lifted her onto the bed, putting the sheets over her. He smiled watching her sleep and walked over to the chair she sat in, following suit and sleeping.

Kim opened her eyes, blinking away the sleep. Took her a few minutes to realise she was in her own bed. Looking around for Lucifuge, she found him on the chair next to her. She lay on her side resting her head on her hand and a smile couldn't help but cross her lips. Sitting up, she got out of bed and quietly made her way to her bathroom to clean up.

Shrugging, Dani focused once more, this time on the cube. Holding it in her gaze, she weakened the bonds only slightly, just enough to grasp, and then levitated the quasi-solid over to the desk, where she tightened the bonds.

As she sat, a new train of thought occured to her, and she sat for several minutes, following it. Interesting ...

Kim stepped out of the shower and grabbed her towelling robe and wrapped herself in it. She felt so refreshed, like my old self again she thought to herself.
She sat for a few minutes taking in the most recent events. Everything had happened so fast. A real whirlwind of emotions, but she felt happy. Her relationship with Havok had completely disintegrated so why am I so relieved?" she questioned herself.
Shrugging her shoulders she picked up fresh clothes and put them on and quietly went back inside the main room and sat softly back onto her bed.
