"Good idea Gwen," Larael said, looking back at the people behind them. Larael pulled back slowing her horse into a trot so that the others wouldn't be too far behind.

FaZ heard a familiar vocie behind him. He turned around and noticed Caunion hastening his horse.
"Frosty! I'm glad you finally caught us up!" He shouted to the newcomer. "What have you been doing man?"
When they slowed down, FaZ decided to leave the group behind, and check the road.
"Anybody want to go with me? You know, lone jaunts arenot very safe! here" He laughed.

Caunion shrugged and said, "Sure, I'll go." He turned his horse towards FaZ and Ellie and rode single fine with them, though it didn't make much sense. One lone rider would be an ideal victim for an Orc raid. If there were three, then they would think twice on attacking.

"Ok, Gwen and Luth, keep an eye on the rest." He pleased the two girls cause they were pretty eager to take command. [:lol:]
"Ok, gentlemen, let's go!" FaZ shouted hastening his horse.

Darrell was slowly beginning to master the basics of horse riding. It was taking longer than expected by the elf teaching him, but the lord was patient, and Darrell was slowly making progress. During one of the breaks he took after several hours learning - otherwise known as consistant falling off - he wondered whether it had been noticed by the others that he was not with them. With this thought he got up to continue his crash course in horse riding, not wanting to be left too far behind.

Gwen smiled ryly and called after them, "Just don't do anything stupid!" The she turned to Luth and said, "You'd think they think we're eager to take command or something..." [:P FaZ]
The group of ladies that were left had now pulled back to a walk. Gwen let go of the reins for a moment to reach back and grab a snack. She had become more and more confident and trusting of her horse during their ride. Retrieving the reins with one hand, she ate with the other, for she hadn't noticed until now how hungry she was, and wondered if the others were. Perhaps we should stop for a break soon...

Elenriel watched as the three men raced ahead to scout the road. Then following Gwen’s lead, Elenriel slowed her mare down to a walk as well. Gripping the reins tightly, she then gently stroked the side of the mare‘s neck. “Well done, mellon nîn.” she whispered to the horse.

Brego had been riding for a while now but she could not tell if it had been a day. The dark sky she had gone past Rohn and had cross a river but was still detmire to find the others.

Luth grinned at her new friend, "Yes, you pull the right rein to turn right, and so on. To get off, make sure you are stopped, naturally. Then with your weight on your left foot, draw your right one over the horse's bottom and step onto the ground. Sounds hard, but it really isn't, just watch me when we stop."

Seeing Ellie ride up next to her, she smiled and replied, "Pretty good, thanks," to his question.

A few minutes later the three guys had disappeared up the trail and the girls were all walking their horses. Watching Gwen eat, it reminded her stomach of how hungry it was, and it grumbled in complaint. "Hmm, I must be hungrier than I thought!" Luth said to Gwen and Melda, "Do you think everyone would want to stop soon?"

Brego stop she was lost. O.... I had my LOTR books she thought. Dismounting, she opened her book bag. Her lunch for school still layed in her bag. An apple, a turkey sandwitch with yellow chesse, a box of fig newtons, chips and a two bottles of water. She never ate this much but had learn to back food in chase something happen and this was something at had happen. she sat down by a steam and opem the box of fig newtons and took two out and drink half a bottle of water. Un saddling her horse she layed out her jacket on the grown.

Elenriel smiled at Pan’s reaction as she rode alongside her. “Yes. It was quite a shock. I had never thought I would be lucky enough to meet the Prince so soon.” With that she looked at their surroundings once more. It was growing late. “Do you think it would be wise to set up camp soon?” she asked, turning back to Pan.

"I don't think those are goblins or... nazguls..." He smirked "... but we should check this out. You know, safeness of our ladies is the most important thing right now." FaZ laughed, and after a while, added:
"Please, stay here, wait for the girls, and eye my horse for a while, I'll get back in a minute."
