Kiana nodded and showed Celun out. She threw some things into a sack and leaned over to get something on the other side of her bed. As she did, she tripped and she just didn't have the energy to get back up. She meant to, and go meet Celun at the tree, but her energy was spent. Journeying from Rivendell to here in only five days took it out of you. Lying there, Kiana fell asleep.

Celun waited for a long time up in her tree. The two branches that she usually hung herself between became more and more comfortable. Eventually, she fell asleep.

Celun rubbed her eyes and yawned. She realized she'd fallen asleep last night waiting for Kiana. She took her bag and slipped down the tree to a creek near by to take a quick bath.

Kiana stood watching her friend bathe for a bit. Then she stepped out of the shadows. As she had suspected, her friend had not seen her. She was smugly satisfied to see Celun jump.

Celun glares slightly and flicks her wet hair behind her and "accidently" flicks water on Kiana. Celun laughs and gets out, dresses and braids her hair tightly, tieing it with a leather strip.
