Okay, what with all the RPGs springing up about what people
think will happen after DMC (no offense to those RPGs; I'm enjoying myself quite thoroughly in those as well), I've decided to break my RPG-hiatus to create something for those among us who are a bit more spoiler-savvy. Obviously we can't hit everything precisely as it'll happen (considering it's not even done filming and is still subject to change), but we (Pippin and I) will be doing our very best to keep everything as on-track as we possibly can. The RPG is open to anyone, but
DO NOT JOIN IF YOU DON'T WANT SPOILERS. If Pip or I correct something, it's probably because we've heard it's in PotC 3 and know it has to be that way. Dialogue will obviously still be open to interpretation, but this RPG
will be scripted as far as plot goes. It's going to be lots of fun, though, so please join us!
~RULES~
1. If you join, please make a point of finishing it out. It's not fair to the other players if one of the main characters just decides to stop posting or is hardly ever on. I'm not asking that you be on 24/7, but try to make it on more than once every few days (or if you can only be on that much, consider playing a minor character with little to do). Obviously absence due to vacations or computer troubles is an exception (assuming you inform the others that you'll be leaving for a bit), but try not to make it a habit.
2. No Original Characters in this one, aside from a few extras here and there, which will be asked for when they're needed. And on the rare occasion that an OC is required, no females. Don't get me wrong- I love female pirates like Anne Bonny and Mary Read as much as anyone else, but they have no place in this film. If I can play a male, you can too.
3. Limit of two characters per individual. The only exception is that I'll be playing three, but it's only for the sake of keeping the plot going in the right direction with minimal OoC posts (the roles were carefully selected to allow me to do so).
4. Have fun! Just because it's scripted, it doesn't mean we can't embellish a bit here and there (within reason). Play with the character; get a good feel for them. Enjoy finding their little quirks and using them to add flavor to the story. Scripting is by no means intended as a limitation.
