The young elf edged steadily closer, already having an arrow nocked to the bow again, untill she caught sght of figures through the trees.

"I'm Egleariel," Egleariel said. Then she caught sight of the girl in the trees.
"Hello," she called, hoping she was a friend.

"Mae Govannen..." the young elf girl said, stepping out of the shadows, the wolf at her heels, her bow warily drawn.

"Suilaid," said the elf a little suspiciously - but with good reason, considering the events of the past few hours or so. "We are not your enemies, you need not fear us," she added, looking at the drawn bow.

"Oh, if you say so...."the young elf girl slackend the arrow and placed it back into her quiver- she was naieve and trusting, a trait that most elflings- even those as old as she was- had.
After pausing to look them up and down, gauging their purpose in 'her' wood, she smiled gracefully "Are you lost myladies?"

"not lost, no," Egleariel said, "It is just that it has been long since I visited this place."

"Do you need help finding your way? I have nought to do, and I may as well make the most of this time. You see, ada went out with the King,a nd I wandered off, and then....and then..." she babbled happily grasping her bow with nimble fingers for one so young. She quickly caught herself though, and gave a sudden bow "Forgive me... I forget myself sometimes... Ada says I have a too larger mouth." Here she smiled, showing all her teeth, even the tiny fangs at the corners which she did not understand yet.

Meleth, also rather young but not quite as trusting after her recent unpleasant encounter, nodded. "I would be most grateful if you could show me how to exit this wood, I - was not keeping track of my direction," she finished, not wanting to tell again of the frightening presence trailing her.

"Why not come to the palace? I'm sure ada would give a noble woman like you a warm welcome!"
Or a smack in the face... she thought to herself "Its not far, and you look hungry." the little elfling said smiling again.

Meleth was quite aware of the fact that her silver hair was dirty and matted and she was not so clean in other spots, either. Her clothes were also rather old and ripped. "I'm afraid I don't look very noble," she said. "But I would appreciate some food."

"Come on then!" the elfling called out, skipping happily off into the woods, the shieldwolf snapping playfully at her heels.

Meleth looked at the others. "Come with me?" she asked shyly.

Damon was scouting the area, leaving the elves to speak to one another as he checked for any signs of orc or other mischief. He sighed from atop a tall branch when he found there were no signs, though it was his duty to find them at least the others were safe at the moment.

He hopped down the tree with the gracefullness of elves and returned to the group just as Meleth saidm, ""Come with me?"

He nodded his head and placed a hand over his heart.

"I will.."

Meleth smiled and for a minute her childish innocence was back. She looked at Egleariel, wondering if she would come too.

Turwaithiel walked along the path, her blue cloak covering her body, her bow tied behind her back, her arrows in an full stock as she walked silently udner the trees of life. Then, she heard voices. she bent low, though she didn't move close only listened.

"Are you coming, ma'am, mylord?" the child giggled, poking her head back around a tree, smiling as if she had seen something very amusing.
Her bright eyes held years unaccounted, and seemed to be older than her little body.
