Treacle bounded in to the garden and sat next to Eve, panting. David came through the gate some minutes later and joined Eve under the trees.
"Had a nice walk?" Eve asked, smiling.
"Very nice. What time is you're appointment?" David asked.
"In an hour and a half. Are you excited?"
David nodded and kissed Eve on the cheek, "I'd better go and have a shower then."

Eve watched David go and texted Alex;

She nodded and tossed him the keys before picking up her handbag.
They climbed in to the silver Porsche Cayenne and drove off, excited.
