Turwaithiel nodded, then turned to him, after whisling an small tune. "Can you ride bareback?" The boy shook his head. "Well, you're going to have to." She took off her bow and showed it to the boy. "If you cannot handle gaurd work, then this will be the death of you." She said seriously as her mare Tathar can galloping forth. "Mae Govvenean, Tathar." She greated her.

Turwaithiel nodded, mounting Tathar and saying to Sendron, "Sendron, you ride with me. Eruraina, you can lead...maybe I can teach you an Elvish thing or too along the way." Sendron hesitatly grabbed Turwaithiel's hand. When he finally did, Turwaithiel pulled him up and swung him over the horses back. "Hold on tight." She warned him, but he was still dazed on how she could pick him up with one arm!

Eruraina smiled, and gracefully, and effortlessly jumped, and sat on Harma's bare back. The great black mare blew noisely out of her nostrils and stomped a foot in impatience. Harma turned around to face away, into the wood, then started off at a small trot, witch would be an easy pace for the boy, who had his mouth gaping open to see Eruraina hop on so easily...

Turwaithiel smiled at Eruraina and followed in an gracefully trot, against Tathar's request, yet Sendron grabbed onto her waist like they where going the speed of light. She turned and asked him, "Too fast?" He nodded and she thought he might have nver ridden an horse, then remembered his earlier comment about having an horse. She sighed and told Eruraina in Elvish, "We should go at full speed for an while. Both Tathar and Harma need the run and if Sendron and handle that, then maybe we can teach him to be an warrior."

Eruraina yelled back over her shoulder in elvish, "put him infront of you so he feels a little more secure, and it's easier for you to tell him instructions."
She slowed Harma down to be right next to Tathar, and said to Sendron, "clamp your knees against the horses side, and try to flow with the movement of the horse. Keep your heels down, and toes up. Just like that." He fallowed her instructions and became more used to the rithum and eased a little with his grip...

Turwaithiel nodded and then told Sendron, "Okay, now that you are ready, we are goign to go fast, like the wind. Tathar is an understanding horse, but also an Elvish one. She doesn't understand mortal tounge so tonight I'll teach you basic commands but for now, try to hold on more with your legs than your hands and arms. You will need those free to shot an arrow while riding in battle. Noro lim!" She yelled and Tathar whinnined and bolted foreward with grand speed, barely matching Harma's speed but keeping up.

Harma went at a very fast canter, almost a gallop, though could fool a human to think she was galloping. Eruraina watched the forest, scanning the trees for this 'slow old gelding' the boy said he had.
Up ahaid on the trail was an old bay cob, eating the green grass that was rich... to rich for a human horse. Befor even waiting for Harma to stop, Eruraina jumped off Harma, and ran to the horse, pulling his halter so he would stop eating the too-rich grass.
"is this him?" she asked Sendron, who nodded at they stopped...

Turwaithiel slowed Tathar to an walk, much to Sendron's relief. Turwaithiel smiled at him. "Well, you lived through the ride...through you grabbed onto her mane for the ride; in battle that will not do. Stay here for an moment, will you?" Turwaithiel walked over to Eruraina, whispering, "We shouldn't had for his home...we shoudl go to an Elven Realm, take him there; his father is evil and will be wanting my head for the idea, but I can deal with him later. The boy could learn the ways of the Elves...though it will be hard, once he learns, he will be useful in battle to his people. I don't care what Elven Realm you choose, but I think that's the best path for the lad." Turwaithiel glanced back at him then back an Eruraina.

Eruraina sighed. "he said he wanted to be an archer. Well, I'm pretty sure most of the best archers are here in Mirkwood, but I really don't know any good teachers here. I would rather Lothlorien, they have good archers, and some of the best teachers. We'll let him ride this old gelding for now... I need to get my stuff back at my camp..." she said...

"We need a better horse for him, if he's going to keep up. If we let this guy go, he'll most likely go off to his stable, but make his father think something happened to Sendron. We should sell this horse in mirkwood, and buy a young elvish horse," Eruraina thought outloud...

Sendron unfortuantly heard and amazingly jumped off Tathar and ran over to Eruraina, crying, "You can't sell 'im! You can't! He's my horse you have no right..." Turwaithiel grabbed his shoulders and told him, "Your horse will never keep up with Tathar and Harma's speed! It would kill him! So, sell your horse and come with us or take your horse and leave now. It is your choice." She let go of his shoulder's and stepped back.

"but he was the first horse I ever rode on! He was my friend, I could talk to him about my dream to be an elven archer and he didn't luaph like the other boys..." Sendron said, eyes becomeing watery.
Eruraina sighed, "I know someone here in Mirkwood that could keep the horse. When I have the time I'll get the horse to Lothlorien for you. But this old horse only has a few years left before... well, we don't have to sell him. But we'll have to leave him in Mirkwood for now."
Sendron's eyes lit up, "really? Thank you." he hubbed the gelding's neck...

Eruraina just smiled. She helped Sendron onto Harma, and got on behind him, holding the gelding's halter with one hand, and holding onto Sendron with the other.
"We better get him his horse today, and tommorow we're leaving for Lothlorien," she said in elvish to Turwaithiel, befor urging Harma to a trot so the old gelding could keep up...
