*nodnod* That will do at least. I have been practising the last couple of days. It's strange, sometimes I feel I've improved a lot and then the next round I can't get anywhere near bulls eye.

Yeah that's happened to me a lot before ... I think it's either cos you're too happy about the previous round and you end up messing up, or you just simply got tired

Lol, it is pretty exciting actually hitting what you aimed for!!
But I have to admit that i actually more often hit the target when I am relaxed and sort of ...'humble' with my shot... also I realized how much the the mind influences on me. If I don't believe I can hit anything, I don't.

True to that ... you can't hit anything at all if you're all tense and shakey

Yep, I agree completely. When I do competitions and stuff, I just have to concentrate on my form and what I'm doing, and not think about anything else. Otherwise I get all jittery and don't do well. :)

^Yeah that's the good way to do it

And never focus directly on the bullseye. You'll always be at least a bit off if you do.

Yes, you just have to get it generally and if you have good form and everything is set right, everything will just fall into place. :P :)

I have a compound bow with a stabilizer at school. I own an olympic/recurve bow, and all it has is a sight ;)
