Meleth glanced over her shoulder as they ran and halted, torn, knowing they needed to move but afraid for Tramius and Saedd. She bit her lip, hearing more drums.

Tramius frowned deeply as the cries grew in volume as did the drums. Sheathing his sword he began picking Saedd up and threw the man onto his shoulders. Tramius began to walk forward, gaining speed as he went but the cries still grew.
He couldn't move fast enough and eventually he saw red eyes in the darkness ahead of him. He spun around to see more of them, all around. His breathing was heavy and his body grew tired. He dropped Saedd and drew his sword, to defend the man's body. The goblins chuckeled and began jumping out of the shadows and into Tramius' sword.

Cole couldn't bear the watch Tramius struggle by himself. But what could he do? There was nothing. If Tramius died, then they were probably all doomed. What if there was some way to lure them away though? He was willing to try anything. Picking up a rock, he threw it as far as he could away from both Tramius and Saedd and where he was standing.

Meleth already had her bow out and was swiftly shooting down the orcs that stood between them and Tramius. Her hands moved almost faster than sight and she looked bound and determined to get to them.

Turwaithiel followed Meleth's lead, shooting arrows quickly around Tramius, careful to watch Saedd as more goblin's appeared. "Where are they all coming from!" She muttered as they contiuned to kill the goblins as the cries got louder and the drums began to poud agian.
