((I know, mate, I know...I've officially given up on my ridiculously cryptic sources for this one (and y'all think I'm too cryptic when it comes to spoilers). So, I'm going to do what every good pirate does: I'm gonna cheat. We're skipping that scene, and I'll just give a brief synopsis of what I have found out. Basically, Will had been captured (before the start of the actual movie) by Sao Feng and was his prisoner. It starts out with Barbossa and Elizabeth "rescuing" Will, but they're also there to obtain certain charts from Sao Feng that lead to World's End, which is where Jack is. A fight breaks out, they run, and now it's night, and they're meeting Will at the docks, where Barbossa has procured a small ship for them.))

Captain Barbossa paced impatiently back and forth on the dock, waiting for any sign of young Mr. Turner. Tia Dalma and the rest of the crew were already onboard the small junk he had acquired, getting it ready to make way, while he and Elizabeth waited for the charts. It was already going to be a narrow escape, but there would be no escape at all if Turner didn't hurry up...Finally, he spotted a dark figure running toward them. "Ye got the charts, Mr. Turner?" he asked as the young man reached them.

Lord Cutler Beckett sat at his desk, watching as Governor Swann signed each of the indicated documents and then affixing his seal to each one as it was finished. As soon as the governor finished his current stack, Beckett calmly handed him a stack of attack authorizations that needed to be signed. Everything was going perfectly according to plan. When faced with the threat of destroying his heart, Davy Jones had proven to be remarkably compliant. Once word got around that the Flying Dutchman was now in the employ of the East India Trading Company, pirate activity had finally begun to die down. Now his attention was focused on attacking the ships of other nations to secure the waters for British commerce.

Will Turner held up his hand as he took a deep breath, hands on his knees. It was not easy escaping, but with the help of Elizabeth and Barbossa he had secured his freedom for the moment...

He handed Captain Barbossa the charts he had taken from Sao Feng.

"Yes, everything is here Captain... I think" He tied his hair back quickly at the bass of his neck with a black thong before awaiting the others.

"I'm impressed, Mister Turner." Barbossa tucked the charts neatly into his coat before quickly leading them around the corner. "There she lies," he said, indicating an old, decrepit Chinese junk with sails that seemed to be made more of patches than the original material. To be honest, she looked ready to literally fall apart at any moment, but it was the best that could be had for the limited sum of money they could offer.

On board the Hai Peng, Tia Dalma spotted the three returning. "Dere dey come," she told the small five-man crew. "Untie 'er from da dock an' set sail, an' hope dey run fast."

"That is the ship?" Will asked with a raised brow, confused that Barbossa had found such junk, but then again they did not have much time to get an actual ship that might float in the water.

"Well let's go then..."

Pintel grinned and poked Ragetti in the shoulder. "We are setting off on another adventure eh! That's what I cull Divine Providence..."

Elizabeth stayed in the background, as she watched Will and Barbossa talk and hand papers. She sighed and bit her lip. She had been going through so much pain and endless nights of restless sleep. Every night was the same dream. A replay of Jack and the Kraken on The Black Pearl.

Elizabeth ran her hand through her hair and took a deep breath. She couldn't believe that she had done that to Jack. That was the one time she felt like she had made the biggest mistake of her life. What had she done? She couldn't tell a soul that she had killed the infamous Captain Jack Sparrow. Purposefully.

The Hai Peng had already cut loose and was now running parallel to the dock. "She's a strong spirit an' all we've got, unless ye fancy stayin' here," Barbossa replied, nodding in the direction of the group of soldiers rushing toward them. With that, he took off running and leapt across the small gap onto the ship.

"'Bout time ye made it," Tia Dalma commented lightly.

Barbossa shrugged. "We encountered some...complications. All that matters is we got this," he said, holding up the charts briefly before tucking them back inside his coat.

Weatherby looked out at the water. It didn't seem so blue as it used to. It looked dark, almost black but he supposed that was just mirroring what he was really feeling. Elizabeth was gone.

She was gone and no one said anything. At least at one point, he knew she was with that pirate, but James was as well with so he wasn't as concerned. However, James had returned...without a word of Elizabeth. It felt wrong. It all felt wrong; James' silence and Beckett's insolence and the disgusting acts that Beckett was using Weatherby's own name for.

If he just knew something about Elizabeth...anything, perhaps it would make everything make a little more sense.

Will nodded as Barbossa explained the ship, he turned back at the oncoming soldiers.

"Right, time to go!" He made sure Elizabeth was safely on the ship, his mind still reeling about her and Jack but he did not have time to think. He followed Elizabeth onto the ship and jumped the gap as Barbossa did to land by the rest of the crew.
