The admiral watched the fight from his position. His archers had began shooting the ship at random. He ordered them to halt and got a squad of darkcoats. He had them in firing position and said in an almost pleadingly voice, "Try not to hit your mates. Anyone that does get three weeks on the stocks." The threat worked; none of the darkcoats engaging the pirates at close range were killed. But only two pirates had died, the rest of the bullets had missed.

Lily crept away and found herself a sword. "Take that." She said, cutting of a soldier's head that was just about to take hers.

Madyski seized the musket of the nearest darkcoat and aimed it at one of the pirates (Pierre). He aimed for his head but the range lowered the accuracy and the bullet went flying for his hand instead. He swore and threw the musket back the darkcoat when a messenger boy came up to him. Shaking, he bowed and said, "Lord Admiral, the ships you requested are ready." He nodded and went to the sergent of the squad. He ordered, "Stand by until that squad looks like it needs help. Have the cannons ready. When the ship set sails, order the cannon to fire." He then took two darkcoats as a guard and went to the throne room.

Keira stared at the Dark coats, they couldnt win, they had to get away.
"Quick! We need to sail!" she yelled, dropping the musket and setting to work.

Liz looked helplessly around: she knew nothing of ships. The fire had almost expired yet they had to seek cover for the gunfire. "Keira! "She yelled "What can I do..?" Their first priority was to get out of the bay. The king would probably send his best admiral to pursue them, but at sea they had more chance to win than here.
