I never had a boyfriend, but I don't mind. I want a boyfriend, who likes me because of my character and not just because of looks. I think those guys are only annoying. *notices that the air conditioner nearly explodes becasue it was running all day long*

I just think it depends on the person. I mean, none of us need a boyfriend, but some of us choose to. I don't think its right to have one before your mature enough. Anywayz... its fine if some of you guys arn't in a relationship yet, your probably better off then those of us who do

i think its only natural to have some boyfriends its still not more important than school but it does teach you about yourself and about other people....and it helps you trust....though some guys arent thast good for you and you could end up with self-consious problems.....i, for one had a boyfriend...but for me it was much more like a friendship....he didnt think so(i felt so bad...!) but im not allowed to have a boyfriend untill im 17...and well...im currently 15 so...i guess i can wait...i dont want my brother runnign on the street with a chainsaw...!(though i dont know .... since im entering highschool....and...well lets just say ill be tempted..)

Yeah I suppose ... I like a guy but I'd hate to go out with him, because I think friendship is stronger and will last longer ... maybe I'm just scared of screwing up a relationship (dating-wise) but I'd just rather be friends with the person I like and even watch him go out with other people ...

Personally I think love ruins friendships, I've never heard of it making anyones friendships stronger, at least not long term.
@MU Of course having a boyfriend is perfectly natura, but later in life, as I said before, I thin kwe kind of force ourself into the fancying malarky, when we don't actually love them.

But how do you know that people our age can't love? If I was given the chance I would. I think it's unfair to say that at our age it's mainly a 'fancying malarky'

We love, but not the same as when we're older. I dunno how to explain it, but to me it seems kinda false at our age. We hear all our friends talking about it, we see people our age goin out an if we don't fancy someone we feel kinda weird, so like make ourslef fancy someone, who we might like in appearence or personality, but don't love. And I find dating is strictly popularity based, with bareley anything on how much we like them and they like us. But thats soley my opinion.

There's nothing wrong with being a romantic. Just, I don't think I wanna get married at 18 or say that I've found the one I want to marry at 18. I don't think I'll love anyone till I'm about 23. And then, marriage will be considered. For now, it's just hormones getting the better of us.

I wouldn't marry at 18! Gosh, who said anything about marriage?! Nope, I'd love them but marriage wouldn't be considerd for a long while after.

ROFL.
That was so utterly I'm-just-going-to-come-right-out-and-say-it! Lol, I might not wait that long, maybe 17-18, but it depends on the person, situation and relationship, although under 16 is a great big, huge, NO NO NO!

yes, but for me the whole point of dating is to see who you're gonna marry. Otherwise, it's an arranged marriage for me.

I'm very much a speak- your-fellings person Though if we had one of theboys spying, that would have ben prettyy embarrassing And sex under 16 is also against the law, and I'm a goody two shoes teachers pet
@EoM: Are arranged marriages still legal?
