Pintel, younger looking, and not bald relaxed near a stable with his head up against the splintered wood.
He was bored, seeking to get into mischief and laughing at the amusement of it. But, it wasn't happening today.

((sorry, i'm sick right now, just a cold, nothing serious, but i haven't been able to post....

((Okay, fine...Since nobody else seems interested in posting, I guess I'll do it))
Oblivious to the activity around him, Captain Finch stood on the docks, engaging in a heated discussion with his only present crewman. "Blast it, Hector, did I not tell ye to have me a crew by today?"
The young quatermaster folded his arms and stared evenly at the fuming captain. "Aye, that ye did, Cap'n. And that I did. That they proved to be complete imbeciles incapable of remembering a simple date is regrettable...However, ye can hardly blame me if-"
"An' yet somehow I find that I can, Mr. Barbossa," the captain interrupted. "I assigned ye the job of recruitin', an' I expect ye to do just that. Ye have exactly one hour to get me fifteen of the best sailors in Tortuga, or it'll be taken out on yer hide. Understood?"
"Cap'n, I-"
"Unless yer introducin' me to a new recruit, Hector, I suggest ye waste yer breath on better things, such as hiring sailors."
Barbossa rolled his eyes, scanned the crowds momentarily, then grabbed a scrawny teenager with dark brown hair by the arm and pulled him over. Pulling out his pistol and placing it against the boy's back, he nodded slightly. "This young man would be more'n happy to serve, aye lad?"

Kolher walked out from behind the alley way and turned toward the Tortuga docks. As he walked near, he lifted his heavy head and peered out toward Hector and Captain Finch. He questioned whether he should approach them and ask for money or food. Would he look like a weakling? At that moment his stomach growled and pain surged within it.....it didn't matter now....he was STARVING!
He tried to stand tall when he approached but his shoulders were still hunched over, "Excuse me sirs, but would you have any food 'ere? Or any shillings that I could work for?" He winced as he stomach growled again.

Anna saw a man put a pistol to boy's back, she knew it shouldn't make her upset, she was in Tortuga, but it did.
"what do you think you're doing, sir? unhand him! he has done nothing wrong!" Anna said running up to the older man in a attempt to make him let go of the younger.

The young boy Barbossa grabbed stood still as he felt the barrel of a pistol push into his back.
He gulped and held up his arms slightly in a surrendering fashion. His body seemed to sway this way and that, even though he was trying desperately not to flinch a muscle.
He cautiously turned his head to peer up behind his shoulder, meeting the face of Hector Barbossa with his kohl-rimmed eyes. "...'ello?..."
