I love Ian McKellen. I really admire him for his openess about his sexuality. I've seen many people change there opinion on him after learning he was gay and that just disgusts me. He's still the same person, same talented actor.
Gah I'll stop before I go off on a massive rant.
I'll end it with All Hail Ian McKellen.
One of Britains finest.

Personally I don't care about his private life or why others should be bothered either. So what? As you said he's still the same. I just think he's a nice man and a great actor. *is eternally grateful for receiving two autographs from Sir Ian*

Exactly. But some people seem to think it changes who he is, and how good of an actor he is. It's ridiculous really.

I had a funny thought. What if all of the Lord of the Rings actors were members in this forum and all of them knew what we were saying about them? That will be a bit embarrassing.... I actually would like a conservation with all of them. Just one giant group talking.

Well people are just stupid. Yeah I wrote to him asking for an autograph for my brotherwho was ill and he dedicated one to him and he also sent me one as well! How kind is that!! And he's a knight and an important man so why some lesser actors can't reply *coughDomMonaghan* I don't know._________________

Yay for us Northerners! Yeah, just five minutes. Him and Christopher Lee, now that would be something special. I would just love to sit there and listen to them talk. They both have wonderful voices.

Of course Orlando Bloom. Me dream is to at least see him in person. He is hot, amazing, and very talented. I saw PotC2 four times for him. ^^

I love Christopher Lee's voice. He could say anything and I'd be all doe eyed. I remember downloading a load of Rhapsody songs and one of them had Christopher on it. I nearly fell off my seat, I've loved him since I was a wee kid watching the old Hammer Horror movies. _________________

There was something so entrancing in his performances as Dracula. I'd definetly recommend them. Gives you another perspective on the Dracula mythos.
