Hmm, true. I just always thought of Dumbledore as "above such magic." Perhaps...
Well, I don't know, but in Narnia there was a Deeper Magic. Narnia was one of JKR's favorite books as a child. I'm just thinking there may be some "catch" we don't know about. But it's true, if he did come back, he can't go off with Harry. This is something he has to do himself.

Another good point Gwen. I had forgotten about JKR's love for Narnia, and it's entirely possible that there could be something we don't know about.
I just don't see the point in him coming back. What's done is done.

I am excited people. I am refreshed and I have opinions again! YEA!
-Is Snape good or evil [where do his loyalties lie]? He is a good guy. not a nice guy, per say, but he is on Harry's side.
-Is Dumbledore and Sirius really ? Yes
-Which 2 characters do you think will die in Book 7? I'm thinking Lupin and a Weasley
-Which character do you think got the reprieve? Peter Pettigrew
-Do you think Harry will die? Nope, not a chance
-Do you think Voldemort was born evil to begin with? Don't think it matters, but i don't really think so.
-What do you think the horcruxes from Gryffindor and Ravenclaw are? I'm sure we'll find out. I don't think it matter WHAT they are, but rather WHERE they are.

I know that Cedric'sGirl has already posted this elsewhere, but I would like to say that JKR has officially stated that Dumbledore's death is real and that he will not be "pulling a Gandalf".

Very true. They actually brought this up at the LeakyMug live podcast in Las Vegas. Though Snape really isn't the nicest of people he is definitely working for Harry.

WOOt! I'm glad to see I'm not alone in the world of podcasting. So, are you a Mugglecaster, a Pottercaster, or both? I'm a Mugglecaster all the way!! I love Jaime, after all he is a fellow Brit!!
Yeah, it was a great podcast, and they did have some really good discussions. I can't wait for the live one in New York!

ARE YOU GOING? I'm not. And yes, I'm a mugglecaster...but John Noe rules. He's a mugglecaster *coughs* You know, Mugglenet Greg.
I just read on Mugglenet that they doubt that Harry and Ginny will be together....and quite frankly I am very depressed. I disagree. I think that Harry will have to turn around. They both love each other! *weeps*

They do love eachother! But Harry really does need to strike out on his own. That's how the "Hero Cycle" works...
I hope they do get together though, they're such a cute couple.
Lol, I wish I was going, but Mum won't let me out of the country til I'm 17. Haha, I love John! Melissa gets on my nerves though...

I'm completely in love with the Harry and Ginny together! It's something I foresaw from the beginning, wanted to happen the entire time, watched from afar...ah! But yeah, Harry just doesn't seem like the kind of guy that will settle down with a wife and children...even after all of his hero stuff is done.

I can't see Harry settling down like that either, he really wouldn't know what to do. After this is all said and done, I don't know what he will do.
Interestingly enough, on Mugglenet there was contest where the contestants had to write their rendition of the last chapter of Book 7. One of them was really interesting, and it made complete sense. At the end, Harry went back to the Dep. of Myst., went through the veil and inside was everyone Harry had known who had died. It was sad, yet it felt so right.
Of course that was written by a fan, and is probably completely wrong, but I would actually like it if it turned out that way.
