Vasa watched as Elegost and Meleth had a slightly heated discussion, "I think that Elegost is right, a trip in to the caves is probably advisable. If my opinion counts, I know I'm not a captain or anything, just a healer." Vasa added, looking from Elegost, to Meleth and at the rest of the company.

Meleth folded her arms. "Well of course we're not going to continue camping in here," she said hotly, and seemed about to continue, but sighed and pushed her hair back out of her face, saying resignedly, "Never mind. If you're so set on it, we'll explore."

Meleth shot him a rather annoyed look. "Don't worry, it takes more than a cave troll to do that," she answered smoothly. "If I am - er - 'flustered', as you put it," she pronounced the word delicately, almost as if to say 'what a ridiculous idea', "I shall let you know, because there is likely to be a very good reason."

Vasa reluctantly followed Elegost in to the cave, "Right, let's get this over and done with eh?" She said to Elegost, giving him a determined look.

"And it did before, too," said Meleth darkly, but said nothing else, merely waited. She had a feeling that Elegost would do what he liked, pretty much regardless of what she said, and decided not to waste her breath.

"What I said previously," replied Meleth. "Move on. Obviously if there's a cave troll here, it's not safe, and even if we can't see anything else, that doesn't mean there's nothing else here." She sighed. "I'm all in favor of a good night's sleep, but not in here."

Meleth looked at Vasa impatiently. "Somewhere where there's not quite as great a chance of being stabbed or devoured in our sleep. I'm sure you agree?" This last was delivered smoothly as she turned to leave, back into the cavern where the rest of the party waited.

Vasa remained quiet once more, she and Meleth had never got on and she had accepted that. It felt wonderful to be back outside again with the wind on her skin. She smiled and smelled the air.
"Fire." She muttered as the sent of smoke met her nose.

Meleth looked around, her smooth, poised facade slipping for a moment to reveal her insecurity. "Go where?" she asked quickly, sniffing the air like a fox.

Midira watch the others argue then settle down then debate on what to do with little interest. she smelt the fire and she didnt' like it but everytime she spoke up with this company she got beaten down. she followed silently she felt her ferrets wrestle around in a pouch she patted it and sighed.

Meleth scowled darkly and followed. She did have a sense of humor and might have grinned wryly at the irony at one point in time, but she did not appreciate her opinions thrown back in her face at this particular moment. She walked in stony silence, followed by the twelve elven warriors, who were smiling discreetly to themselves.
