Telpeath, if you want to do a screenshot of most "static" things, like a web page, you can just use the Print Screen key. If you want to do a screenshot of a DVD, you'll need a program like Cyberlink PowerDVD 5

Whee I haven't checked this thread in a long time, so I have some questions to catch up on...

What's your RL name? Jennifer, Jenny, or Jen, depending on who you ask. Usually Jen though.

how much time do you spend at AU every week, on average?
Too much. haha just kidding. I like my job here. Usually. No, it really just varies from week to week. This week I haven't had much in RL going on, so I've been on here quite a bit. Other weeks I might only come on once or twice.

Were any of you there [as mods or non] when Arwen first opened the forum?
I had found Arwen's site a few months before she opened the OLD forum, and absolutely loved it, so when she opened the old forum, I joined within the first few days. I didn't become a mod until some time later (I honestly don't remember how long after I joined... 6 months? a year? I don't know). I became a mod at the same time as Nienor and Miremiel, I believe.

Okay, do any of you spend considerable time on any other forums, or is A-U the only one?
I joined the http://www.relevantmagazine.com/boards/ a few months ago. I still mostly lurk, but post now and again.

What is your favourite subforum?
I'd also have to say Minas Morgul. I love my fellow moddies very very much

How did you get your username?
For a very long time, my username was Jenny. I changed it a few months after we switched over to the new forum because I felt left out that everyone had these pretty-sounding aliases, and I just had my boring cheerleader-sounding name. So I looked through Arwen's list of Elvish names and chose one that I liked that wasn't used by someone else. It means "strong one" and I forget what name its a translation of

I don't know anyone in RL, but I will someday! I'm determined. I think I live nearest to either Sid or Ivreniel and Arsarniel, and after that, Arwen. I may go to college near Arwen, though. I will meet at least one of you in RL, I promise!

It couldn't be both, because Mire was one of the original nine, along with Arsa and Ala. Nie was part of my group, as were you. Remember? We all started October 24, 2004 and Arwen posted her welcome at 4:03pm CDT. How do I know? I'm in our old moddie forum over on the old forum boards looking at our old welcome thread.

In our group were:
Tindomerel (still active)
Valaraukar (pops in occasionally)
Sidawethiel (still active)
Turin/Medivh (inactive)
Jenny/Bellethiel (still active)
Elanor (still active)
Ivreniel (still active)
Nienor (still active)
Rumil (active in spurts)

The Nine (the original group of mods):
We were welcomed first by Alatariel "Welcome welcome all new mods! *huggles* then Miremiel, then Arsarniel, then Elvawen, Eruanna (now known as Jo), no welcome from Kitoky. So that accounts for 6 of the Nine. Missing Tulk (7), TheSwordofNankar (8), can't remember names for the last two.

Our "Nemods" joined us Sep 6, 2005 and were first welcomed by Arwen at 5:26pm (loves old threads 8) )

Its been said, but I'll (try) to answer again.

Arwen and Sid have met, Nienor and Alatariel have met multiple times, Ivreniel and Arsarniel are sisters, and various members have talked on the phone (other people may have met, I just don't remember). I haven't met anyone one day though!

^ Though we do both live in one of the four-corner states. So we're pretty close. We have the grand canyon and painted desert between us, along with some mountains Maybe we can both go there one of these years. Oooh, or let's persuade our folks to all go with us to that post marking the four corners next summer *hehe*

Lol, have you ever been to the actual Four Corners? Its pretty much a lame tourist trap. Its a cement slab with metal plaques showing the 4 states, surrounded by flags and a bunch of booths of people selling junk... in the middle of the desert. But it would be a good meeting spot :B The Grand Canyon is cool.. and there's some cool areas in that part of Colorado.
