"We know, Dernhelm!" barked Meleth, still unsure. She peered into the shadows. "I'm not going to shoot into the dark, I might hit you. Show yourself!" she snapped in the direction she thought the knife-wielding stranger to be, though she had a sinking feeling that even when she saw him he would be a shadow, dark as night.

(( Maybe it's good that one of you knows Miriel.. easier to get things going  ))
Miriel quietlyrode through the woods on her way to Rivendell. There was something going on her and she quickly dismounted as she heard the piercing Nazgul scream. The sound came from an open place in the woods and Miriel heard other voices also. _________________
