Meanwhile, Jack had made his way outside into the darkened night. He saunted his way through the thick vast of chaos, to a finally a desolate dock just outside the town's edge.
Jack sighed, and rested himself up against a stack of crates. He took off his hat and rubbed his forehead as if he had been wearing the thing too long.
(Ok, please explain...is this after DMC? Before DMC?)

Yet her own face was suddenly split into a smirk itsself.

Jack smirked all the more at her comment with a scintillated gleam in his eyes. "Come on love..." he gently, pried her hands off the compass and pocketed it graciously.

Portia was at the docks, looking up at the Pearl. She really missed it and the ocean. She wished everyday that she never left Jack's crew. The sea was a part of her. It always would be. She wrapped her arms around herself and walked up closer to it. She gently reached out her hand and touched the cold bark of it. She sighed sadly.

He smirked mischievously and took a step towards Devina's face. His dark brown eyes fell to where he lips were.
