It was night time now. The night sky was dark and the stars and moon shown beautifully against the pale and silent waters of the lake near-by. But, near the lake, there was no silence, but many young folk, short and happy, laughing and playing, with music and dancing, drinking ale and all where looking hungrly at the cake, which was meant for Mr. Bilbo Baggins, whom turn 111 years old that day. Yet, they still awaited his arrival, along with the wizards, but hobbits where known to start things earily.

Ilythiiri was still racing around, greeting guests and doing odd things. She looked more relaxed now, but kept a careful eye out for Pippin.

Pippin looked around and walked up to Itythiiri, whispering, "If you see Gandalf and his cart of goodies, let me know. Now, I'm going to play the banjo." Then, with an lopsided grin, Pippin ran up the small stage steps and joined the band, quickly putting an twist to an old hobbit tune. He actually played it quite well and in beat with the rthyum.

(he really did do this in the movie.)
