A wry smirk appeared on Jack's lips as he felt Will pat him on the shoulder. He heard Portia try to talk and he gestured with his hand to shut her up, "Just shush for a few..it will do ye good..."

Will's smile disappeared as he dropped his head. His eyes lowered to the ground as he said quietly, "I'm sorry that I tipped the boat. It was an accident and it's my fault. I apologize everyone...especially to you Portia."
Will rubbed his neck nervously and then handed Jack his jar of dirt, "Here Jack, I believe you dropped this."

Jack slowly stood up, grasping the jar of dirt in his hands, "So it was the bloody eunuch who tipped o'er the boat.." he mummbled almost to himself.
He shook his head in disbelief and then said outloud to the crew, "We can't just sit 'ere all night mates...get that boat back, Port Royal is quite far out there.."

Will nodded in agreement with Jack...although Jack couldn't see him. He grabbed Jack's hand firmly and led him to the boat.
Will then stepped in himself and grabbed an oar. "Come on everyone, we need to get going."

Portia watched as everyone stood up, so she copied them. She brushed the front of her clothing off and sighed. She tucked some hair behind her ear and started to follow Will and Jack.

Jack let out a heavy breath as he rested himself back into the boat. He listened in the darkness, hearing the boat creak, the water slush, and the others also step into it.
He clutched his jar of dirt and carried a stiff neck.

Portia slowly walked into the boat and sat across from Jack. She looked to him and bit her lip. She slowly leaned forward and sighed. "Thank ye, Jack..." She whispered to him. She tried her hardest to speak.

His lips formed into a dry smirk and he said, "Most welcome..."

Portia knew that Jack was probably going to regret this, but she looked around and saw no one looking. She swallowed hard and placed a soft kiss on his lips. She then quickly pulled away and acted as if nothing happened. She wiped her forehead in relief, that no one saw her do so.

Jack's eyes closed as the soft kissed happened. He smirked pleasingly...the second best thing that came after rum was definately a kiss from a woman.
But, suddenly he backed away and held up his hands, "Please tell me that didn't come from the eunuch o'er there!"
