Portia heard what Jack said, and looked down to the floor. She sighed and ran her fingers through her hair. She bit her lip and twirled her fingers.

Will heard what Jack said and it made him angry. He could still envision Elizabeth with Jack on the Pearl.....the kiss she gave him......
"You didn't deserve that bloody kiss, Jack. You never did," Will gripped a hold of the oar tighter.....tempted to hit Jack and knock him overboard.

Jack's head lowered and he said this to Will, "Well, now that I see that 'er kiss really wasn't a kiss, ye know a real kiss, more of the persuading said man to do what she wants to do kiss...I don't think I deserved that kiss."

Portia listened to Jack and Will. She sighed deeply and stared down to the floor of the boat. She slowly grabbed an oar and started rowing. "Well, I believe that ye deserved what I gave ya." She whispered to him, so no one else could hear.

Will shook his head and looked away from Jack. He continued to row harder through the swamp.
Soon they were out of the jungle and into open sea water. "How much further is Port Royal?" he asked with sweat pouring down his face and chest.

Jack smirked drly at Portia's last comment to him, but he then answered William, "How should I bloody know..." he thought for a while then answered, "'Bout a week."
He let that sink into his mind and he frowned, "That's alot of water to cross without said beastie attackin'." he mumbled.

"WHAT?!!!" Will exclaimed with his eyes wide. He completely stopped rowing and then said, " Well for one thing everyone, I'm not going to be rowing this bloody boat for a week!" He threw the oar inside the boat by his feet and said, "Anyone else up for the job?"

Portia rolled her eyes at both of the men. "Come on, men... quit yer belly achin' and row! If we want ta get somewhere, we need ta do it fast!" She continued rowing harder and faster, so they would actually get somewhere.

Will was about say some un-nice things to Jack, but decided not to....in the presence of a lady. He continued to row harder now in the dark of the night.
Will whispered into Jack's ear, "I will settle this with you later."

He stared into the darkness, wondering what expression Will's face had pulled.

Will was relieved when Gibbs and Portia took over the rowing for a couple hours. He looked at Gibbs and said, "Thank you Gibbs. I could swear that if I had rowed for just a few more miles my arms would have fallen off."
He carefully walked himself to the other end of the rowboat and sat himself next to Jack. He wiped all the sweat off his face by scooping up some water from the sea. He sighed heavily and looked up at the night sky. The stars twinkled brightly and were dotted across the sky.
As Will sat there and everything seemed peaceful he smacked Jack upside the head. "That's for earlier today," he said as he continued to look up at the stars.
