Has anyone here, actually participated in an Ouija board? I'd love to, and I know lots of people who have... I hardly believe in what they're supposed to do; but I can't help but wonder, if anyone's had a strange experience, with one of these things? Or even just your own opinions, on them?

I think they're a little bizarre. (no offense to anyone who enjoys them) But I just don't think they work. But that doesn't mean I wasn't curious. I did try it once with a group of friends and nothing really happened.

Hai, I don't think they actually work.. they're just very interesting.. although, I've known lots of people, who swear they work.. so it's something I'm unsure about.
You can't really tell whether it's something supernatural.. or if it's just someone else with their finger on the glass.. XD;;

The one time I did it with my friends, one of my friends was trying to make it work and she swore the piece was moving on it's own but it was obvious she was moving it herself.
I too have heard people swear they work but it makes me wonder if the people they saw doing it are just really good at making it look like they are pushing the piece themselves.

I've heard about them, and I sorta believe they work, but I'd never do one my self, people have committed suicide after using one, I don't trust them.

Eh...I generally try to avoid them. I do believe they work to a certain extent, but I get a very uneasy, sick feeling around things of that sort, so...yeah. No offense to those who do use them, but they're not exactly my cup of tea.

I don't think it's the boards themselves that are causing all the trouble... but it's just the fact that the people who choose to play them, scare themselves to the extreme, really.. situations like that really play on the imagination, I suppose... so people start to blame the Ouija board for certain things, soon afterwards.

I love Ouija! They definitely work. We used to do it all the time when we were younger, it was definitely a popular game at parties!

I've gotten near to playing one.. and every time I backed out. I think I believe it enough to be wary of them... so I've never gotten up the nerve to take part in it.. the reason for the thread itself, is that I've been asked to do one. XD;;
Is it always something...malevolant, that decides to show itself, at an Ouija board? That's what I'd like to know... I've had friends who've done them, and had bad experiences.. though it's hard to know if they're just lying or not.

Eh...I won't say anything here, since it would very likely upset several people. If you want my opinion, pm me, aye? That's probably the better place for this discussion anyway.

Not all Ouija experiences are bad experiences. It depends on whether you do something to upset the board/spirits or if you call upon a bad spirit.

Never do one unless you know what you're doing (i.e.: spiritualist!) They are very dangerous, and even if they don't work, themind scares you even more! Stay clear!

I suppose so.. it depends on what intention you actually have, when you very first start, then? If it's a bad intention... what happens won't be so nice?

Hai, the mind does play lots of tricks on you... I know what that's like.. apparently, for every scary film you watch; that's like guaranteeing yourself at least four years of nightmares... so it's the same with anything, ne?
