Meleth looked a little shocked at how the noise level had risen, not being used to spending time with so many others.
((I dunno, it seems to me that buffet-style dinner isn't very elven - wouldn't they be served?))

After the initial rush of those who wanted to eat first, things began to calm down again, which meant elves were free to get up and roam at their leisure. Some took advantage of this, since not everyone was hungry, and one of them to do this was Aradan.

Turwaithiel smiled at Lothwen and looked over where Aradan sat, but he was gone. "Where is he?" Lothwen looked at her, puzzled, but Turwaithiel shook her head in ingoring her comment before she looked around, an small drink in her hand.

After making a few rounds of the hall, Aradan finally decided to take his leave to go outside..mostly to get away from the noise of all the conversation. Once outside in the gardens, he breathed a sigh of relief, glad to be alone for a few moments.

Turwaithiel saw Aradan walked outside and she said to Lothwen, "Would you excuse me?" She followed him and came behind him as he looked along the trees, the breeze lightly blowing. She smiled and said, "I am like the breeze...I never know which way I will go and I let it take me where I'm destied. I am free and belong knowhere. Have you ever really been free, Aradan?" She asked.

Aradan had been startled, to say the least, to realize that he had been followed, and he turned quickly to face Turwaithiel, grey eyes glinting slightly. "I suppose that all depends on your definition of free.." he said in response to her question.
