Jack's eyes faltered. He could feel himself grow slightly nervous, but he answered with a strange wave of his hands, "Will it 'elp if I did the same to ye?" his eyes drifted down to her lips.

"Ah hah!" Jack suddenly, turned his back around, and left.
Two minutes passed of strange silence, but Jack had returned, carrying two bottles of rum he had graciously stolen from the counter.
He reached out and offered one to her with a toothy golden grin.

Portia smiled weakly to Jack and took the rum from Jack. She sighed deeply, let go of Jack's hand and leaned against the wall again. She slid down so she could sit on the floor and opened the bottle of rum. She lifted the bottle for a toast. "Fer freedom, aye?"

"To the Black Pearl!" He lifted up his rum bottle, clinked hers, and placed the bottle to his lips, hoping to wash down this bloody situation and another nice mess he had gotten himself into.

Portia bit her lip and looked to her rum. She picked it up and took a drink of it. She slowly set it back down and then stood up. She walked over to Jack and pulled the rum bottle away from his mouth. She set it aside and then kissed him deeply.
