So we all know that people name cars...I wonder if they name things like boats, planes, or motorcycles?

Ha! My friend named my car! :P My car's name is "Miranda" because she's toyota echo that's red and saucy,....sort of like Miranda on Sex and the City, ha......I also have a peace crane that hangs from my rearview mirror and his name is Arthur, so It's Arthur and Miranda. :P

My dad named his sailboat, it's name is the "Blue Luna" :p So, people name a lot of strange things :P

I've got a small silver Ford KA. It actually has no name, but I like the idea of giving names to cars. Does anyone of you know a good one that would fit my car? :-D

I think most boats have names and Virgin Airlines names their planes.

My mum 2nd car was called Fifi because it was a Ford. The one she has now is a Ford KA and it's called Uri because then it's UriKA like Urika Johnson. Dad's old Audi was called Dudey - Audi Dudey. Now he has a Honda called Rhonda. So yea, we name our cars too. And I named my computer Trinity. :teehee:

Well for boats I was actually talking about personally owned ones.

 Woah that came out really weird.

I was talking about personally owned boats before...there that's better.

JetBlue names their planes too. The names are mostly puns involving the word blue, or something that is blue.
I don't know about privately owned planes, as I've never actually seen one.

I've named all my parents cars based on color (ex/ my mom's current car is dark red, so she's called Garnet), except one, which was called Racy because he was a sports car, which to my 4-year-old mind was the same as a race car.

People name their cars? :teehee: I'm not laughing at you or anything, I just find that slightly amusing. I've never named an inanimate object before...
