Jones' swollen squid-like head suddenly turned around to where the woman had just descended only a few moments ago.
"Maccus! Do yer duty!" he said in a strong voice.
The poor mutated man, with the hammer shark-like head looked at the Captain and nodded knowingly with a smile, "Aye Cap'n!"

Will now felt like he had lost his stomach, as he fell towards the blackness of the ocean. He screamed, as well, on the way down.
He then hit the ocean with a hard splat. The crash sent stinging sensations across his back and body.

Portia fell with Will, as well and landed right on top of him. She groaned in pain and felt a sharp pain in her chest.

As Portia landed on top of Will, he was pushed further under water. One of Portia's elbows had hit him hard in his side. He gasped for air, but accidentally sucked in water. He felt as if he would die if he didn't reach the surface for oxygen.
Once he surfaced, he coughed violently as water came out of his mouth and nose. The burning sensation in his throat and sinuses was unbearable.

Portia felt as if her bones had shattered, when she hit Will. She hit her head against his chest hard and she now had a splitting headache. She made it to the surface, with a gasp for air.
She had a cut on her forehead and it was bleeding profusely. She groaned in pain and looked over to where Jack and Gibbs were. She pointed to them.
"Come on! They're at shore!" She yelled and took hold of Will's hand.

In a painful, yank, a thorny something had taken hold of Will's ankle, forcing him under the ocean's stormy water...

Will had not even regained his breath and yet he was pulled under the ocean with such powerful force. He held his breath, but it hurt terribly. He wanted to cough, but he couldn't. His chest became tight and he could feel his heart pounding within.
Reaching down toward his ankle, he tried to free himself....but whatever had him.....was too slimy to unrap.

Portia gasped in terror, when she saw Will being taken down underwater. "WILL!" She screamed and then dove for him. She swam as fast as she could to get him. She tried her hardest to look for him.

The thing grabbed Will's ankle harder, and started dragging him deeper and deeper into the depths.
The thing, wasn't the Kraken...something smaller, but it was taking Will Turner back to the Dutchman.

Will's lungs needed to breathe...IMMEDIATELY! He began to kick and throw himself around underwater. He tried everything just to free himself so he could swim back to the surface.

Suddenly, the 'thing' that held Will, surfaced.
The 'thing' turned out to be Maccus, the hammer-head mutated being. He snarled up his upper lip, showing his jagged teeth. The eye on the what used to be the man's face looked over William as he losened the grip on the weakling so that he didn't die then and there....
"Stop yer squrimin'!" the horse voice hollared out.

Portia surfaced with Will and then creature that had been holding him. She gasped, when she recognized the face. She reached down into her boot and got out her knife. She grabbed Will's hand and swam toward the mutated man. She stabbed him in the neck, angrily.

"AH!" The creature screamed.
Unfortunately, Maccus didn't see her coming, for the side of his head with the shark eye had been on the opposite from her.
His face bent in pain and his mouth opened up, revealing two sharp sets of teeth, one behind the other. A green puss instead of blood leaked from the wound and mixed into the ocean's water.
But as soon as a flash of lightning lit up the sky, Maccus threw his neck onto Portia, and bit the side of her neck, sinking his teeth hard and deep into the fleshy skin. He felt the hot blood from her body immediately in his mouth. Yet, through this, it just made his grip tighter around Will's ankle.

Portia's eyes widened and she screamed in pain. She gathered enough strength to stabbed the shark continuously. She had to save her friend and get him back to shore. She then sliced the man's slimy hand off, that held Will. "SWIM WILL!" She screamed and continued stabbing.
