I wasn't suprised to tell you the truth... Murtagh is an angry, teenage, hormone-filled, gulible, turd-head of boy that refused to take his head out of his butt and look beyond the end of his nose to see the politics of the world.

I'm sorry for offending anyone, but it's the truth.

I do love Murtagh. It is the truth, but he was forced. I'm sure he didn't go willingly. But howmany of you can truthfully say that you would submit to a long, painful, drawn out, torturous death, istead of giving in. It seems easy for heros in books to do it, but in reality, is extremely unlikely. I just hope Murtagh become good agin, Somehow.

He will become good again. All will be good in the end, even the red dragon! Eragon will be King or something and marry Nasuada or something... It'll all be good.

As for torture... I take my brain to the grave. I would act insane first, to see if that did anything.

That's how I felt about Murtagh too. It made me feel sorry for him. I mean if he wasn't sworned to Galby then he would most likely help out Eragon.

He will either become good or die. No, really! I'm not kidding. I can picture it now... maybe I should write the book... nah, too much work typing.

Murtagh will be killed by Galbatorax (sp?) for being merciful towards Eragon. Murtagh will become fully good as he dies in his brothers arms. Eragorn will be fired up with revenge and kills Galb.
Mutagh might whisper Galbs' weakness as he dies to give Eragon the advantage.

I am going to laugh if that is this is the outcome.
