He grinned into her face and lifted the rum bottle to his lips taking a deep swallow.

Portia laughed a little more and took his rum bottle from him. She then took a drink for herself and swallowed it. "Probably not... unless... I quit." She said softly and smirked.

Jack snatched the rum bottle from Portia's hand, and took another swig, "Then quit.." he said as he whiped away the liquid from his lips with his sleeve.

Portia raised an eyebrow and took a step back from Jack. She licked her lips and tasted the rum flavor on them still. She folded her arms and then looked to her boss. "Eh, boss... I quit." She yelled to him and then he looked to her, a bit upset. He walked in to her and grabbed her by her wrist, angrily. "Ye will not leave!" He hissed. Portia's eyes widened.

Portia's boss glared at Jack. "Are ye tha reason she wants ta leave?" He made his grip tighter on Portia's wrist. She gasped in pain and tried to pull away from him.

The man glared more at Jack and raised his free hand to punch him, but Portia became angered. She stomped hard on his foot and then hit him hard in the face with her elbow. He fell to the floor unconscience. She took a deep breath and looked to Jack. "Come on..." She said and took his hand. She led the both of them out of the pub.

Portia looked to Jack with a smile and nodded. "Aye. Those things ya taught me worked after all." She smirked a bit and then led him over to the docks. She sat down in the sand and sighed deeply.
