"Hi Caunion, I'm Luthien of Lorien, or simply Luthien. This is Melda, Raven, and LDM." She pointed to each of the girls as she said their names. "Do you want to join us?'

Haldir peered from behind a wall at the groups of people standing around. She was knew to this boarding school and she really had no idea how it worked.

She sprang out from her spot and popped up beside Caunion. "Hi I'm new too! Want a cooky?" she held out her little bag full of chocolate chipped ones. "They're really tasty.."

"Sure!" He quickly moved to grab his things when he saw Haldir. He heard her offer which he accepted with a polite "Thank you" He replaced his belongings near Luth's desk. He began entering his stage where he would attempt to grasp for thoughts. Just in case the teacher gave him an assignment.

"No problemo!" said Haldir cheerily. "How do we know which class we're in? Do I belong in this class? Who do I ask?" Haldir trailed behind the group, wondering what to do.

Caunion broke off his trance briefly to address Haldir. "Well," he said. "This is Creative Writing. Did you register for this class when we began enrollment?"

Luthien giggled quietly at Haldir unique introduction. She leaned over to Melda and whispered, "Seems we have a ton of newbies! Should make this term interesting..." She winked.

Haldir shrugged. "I have no idea what I took ... what do we do in Creative Writing?" she wondered loudly. "Anything to do with art? There's 'creative' in it.."

Caunion smiled and said, "No, I don't think there is any art involved. Instead you use your creativity to think of a story and writing. Believe me, this is a lot better than writing essays."

Haldir blinked. "Hmm sounds fun I guess .. how do I know what courses I took?" she asked cheerily, taking a bite out of a cookie.

Luth decided to enter their conversation, "Did you get a schedule Haldir? If not, you should ask one of the profs. It has all your classes and times and everything on it, quite handy really."
