Meleth scanned the room, becoming more bored by the second. She caught sight of Rhavaniel, Sadron and Locien playing a game with dice, but remained where she was - dice were hardly less boring than dancing. She sighed and shifted her position, thoughts wandering.

As Lorwen's mother went off to inform the rest of the family of what had just happened Lorwen sighed. "My family is not going to like this. I really hope I have done the right thing mellon."
