-This varies on how popular you think the contest would be. If it's a movie that's just come out, or is one of the most talked about topics on the forum, you may want to limit it to two weeks so you don't get too many entries to keep track of.

-Yes, I do. I think that those who do a good job should recieve an award.

[ 03 ] What makes you join contests?

-The theme, for one, and also the type of graphic.

-Yes, I do, because, even though the size is small, you can still do alot to it to make it look better

-I actually don't like avatar contests much, mainly because I'm not good at it. If I was, I'd do more

-Again, it varies. Depends on the theme and type of graphic.

About 2 weeks. But, it depends.

Yeah, I do, because it's kind of nice to get something out of the contest.

Well, I usually enter banner contests that have something to do with a movie, but other things like 'Creative use of the same pic' (which is an actual contest here ) works too.

No, I actually like blend contests better now, though I used to enter only banner contests.

Eh, not really, because I'm not very good at making avatars. lol

Not really (anymore) but I do join a lot when I'm in the mood.

I think two weeks total is the best. A little over a week for the actual entry and collecting of entries, then a couple days for voting.

Definitely! The awards just make it seem so much more specialer!

The subject of the contest. If I like it (Like PotC, LotR, movies I like to watch) then I tend to join it.

[b]Yes. They can be so much more creative than other kinds, and are a managable size as well, My computer is really slow, so voting for large graphics or posting my graphic on a page filled with them takes forever.

[ 05 ] Avatar contests?

Not as much. It doesn't seem to have the same amount of freedom and creativity as other kinds.

[ 06 ] Do you join a variety of contests?

Depends on what you mean by variety! I've joined many different subject contests, but the majority of them have been banners. I don't tend to do others as much as those.
