Davey Jones' eyes still stared at his beating heart. He watched it rise and fall, and heard the gentle, yet strong palpitations.
The cold ice eyes, turned to a glassy haze towards Mr. Beckett. His heavy, angry brow lifted revealing a softer face. The tentacled beard relaxed more, and slid around his shoulders and chest.

((Sorry, mates, but Pip and I have both had killer weeks (for different reasons), and as a result this RPG's been lagging a bit. It's currently almost midnight here, and I just finished homework, so I can't post right now, but I'll do my very best to get a post in by tomorrow))

((Aye, that we are...Think we mostly got it, though. *shrugs* It'll be hard, cuz certain spoilers are highly crucial to the development of certain characters, but they're major spoilers, so...yeah. We'll do our best, mates))
Tia stared steadily at Will and Elizabeth. "I can nae see dat far unaided, chile. Even Tia Dalma have her limits, hmm? Now, where did I put ye...?" she went off muttering to herself, rumaging through her shelves.

Beckett's expression became a barely-contained smile as he watched the emotions play on Jones' face. "Not so easy when you're on the other side of the bargain, is it, Mr. Jones?" he asked dryly. "I must admit; I personally would prefer to just be rid of you and thus reduce the threat to my ships. Fortunately for you, however, every man has his price. Say...full command of you and all that you possess?"

Davey Jones' eyes stared into Beckett's. "And why, must I ask, would a man of yer occupation want such a bargain?.." his head twitched, and his voice fell low.

Jack's eyes blinked open. Slowly, clearing out all the darkness that was before them, and washing out the blurred figure across the room.
Apparently, Sparrow, with the help of the rum had passed out into a deep sleep on one of the barrels. But he now found himself in a very uncomfortable position, and he immediately started to squirm out of it.
"Bloody,..." he said while sitting up.
By now, his eyes had cleared out the blurred figure who was across the room. It was Bootstrap Bill, who seemed to be staring back at Jack.

"Power," Beckett replied obviously, raising his eyebrows slightly as he began to stroll around the room again. "The common motivator for all of mankind. Why spend a decade securing my control of these waters by conventional methods when I can do so in a mere fraction of the time using more...inventive means?" He paused to pour a small glass of brandy and drained it before glancing wryly at Jones. "But of course if you'd rather not assist me in that quest, Mr. Mercer will gladly help you leave..."

"Still can't hold yer liquor, Jack," Bootstrap commented, smiling dryly as the younger man finally awoke from his inebriated slumber. "Ye'll be sorry to find out that though we're exempt from many mortal inconveniences, hangover is decidedly not one of them...learned that one the hard way." He grimaced slightly at the memory, then stood up abruptly, grabbing Jack's arm to hoist him to his feet. "C'mon. Cap'n's away, which means Maccus an' Jimmylegs are in charge. If there's anythin' more dangerous than crossin' Jones, it's crossin' someone else who's afraid o' crossin' Jones. Between the two of 'em, there've been some rather inventive punishments in the cap'n's absence."

Elizabeth glared at Will and crossed her arms. "Why did we come here? She can't even help us, Will! She's not a real fortune teller..." she breathed heavily and turned her back on Will.

Davey Jones' eyes fell towards the floor. The Captain of the sea looked angered. He could feel the pain inside his fleshy state of skin slowly tearing him apart. He sneered up his lips which immediately sent his tentacled beard in a frenzied wave. "I accept'a..." He had no other choice...

Jack stumbled to his feet, crashing into Bootstrap's barnacled shoulder. He moaned, and squinted in the darkness. Where was the morning sun? Had it not been a day? Had he only been out a few hours? Bah, too much to think about for Sparrow, so he pushed the curiosity aside, temporarily.
"If the Captian's gone, then what the bloody are we workin' for?..." he mummbled out in a harsh tired voice.
