Portia took hold of Jack's hand and bit her lip hard. Her wounds burned like fire, so she gasped in pain. She squeezed Jack's hand tightly and helped him out of the boat.

Portia slowly closed her eyes and held onto Jack's hand still. She hadn't felt this much pain since... well, ever. She took deep breaths and bit her lip hard.

Davey had went below deck to get a cup of water. He wasn't sure if Will really wanted the cup though, because it had sea particles on it. But, if he was thirsty enough, he wouldn't mind one bit. He slowly walked toward Will and handed it to him. "Here."

Will looked at his father and then noticed that an oddly shaped cup was handed to him. Without hesitation, Will grabbed the cup and gulped down the dirty water with haste. It did not taste good, but the dehydration caused by his lose of blood, made Will drink like a mad man.
He drank the cup empty and sighed heavily as he moved the cup away from his mouth. Water droplets dripped off his lips as he said, "Thank you...."

Bootstrap nodded and set the cup on a nearby stand that was placed near the bed. He sighed and slowly sat down beside Will. "We need to clean those wounds up." He said, softly to him and looked over the nasty cuts that Maccus had caused on Will.
