Nodding softly, Will said relunctantly, "I agree....let's get to it." He paused for a moment as if dumbfounded and then said, "How are we going to do it?" His eyes winced at his father, afraid of what he would say next.

Bootstrap sighed and looked back up to Will's face. "Well, we have to clean out the wounds, unless they got clean enough in the salt water. We don't want you to get infection."

Will looked away and remained quiet. "Do what you must....it would be far worse to have an infection...."
He then rubbed the droplets of water off his lips and swallowed hard.

Bootstrap bit his lip and nodded. "Right." He sighed and then ripped his whole right sleeve off. He set it on the bed and then slowly started checking Will's wounds, to see if there was any type of infection starting in them.

Will gritted his teeth, preparing himself for some horrific sting...."How does it look? Any bloody infection settling in?" In Will's mind, he was hoping that there wasn't.

Bootstrap sighed and looked back up to Will. "Not any that I can see. You were in the ocean for a while, so the salt water seemed to have cleaned mostly everything out. It just needs to be dressed." He said.
He then got the ripped sleeve from his shirt. He crumpled it into a ball and stuck it in Will's hand. "I need you to apply pressure to the wound, so the blood will lessen. I need to get you a wrap." He said and then slowly stood up.
He walked toward a cabinet and looked through it. There was a blanket that was in there, so he took it out. He then ripped it in half. He threw the half he didn't need back inside the cabinet and walked back to Will.
Once there, he sat back down and waited for Will to follow his instructions.

"The shark devil got her." Gibbs said, "Come on, this way, we need to get help. Will's on board the Dutchman and we need to help."
Gibbs led Portia and Jack down to the town of Port Royal. He searched anxiously for a doctor, when he found the residence he pounded on the door.

Will placed Bootstrap's crumpled sleeve over the cut near his side. It was extremely sore and painful. Ripples of blood seemed to escape from underneath the sleeve, even though Will applied pressure. "Ugh....Ugh....aww...." Grunting noises slipped out of Will's closed mouth.

Bootstrap nodded and then started wrapping the sheet over the sleeve that Will was using to apply pressure. He moved Will's hand out of the way and made the sheet tight around Will's cuts. He hoped that this would stop the blood from coming. He sighed and then tied a knot into the sheet. "That ought ta help."
