Tynel decided to test himself agaist some one like her, who had been to sea for far longer than he had, he dove down, and slowly made his way toward the bottom, but only lasted about 15 seconds before he had to resurface.
How does she do that?! he wondered how long it took her to be able to dive for over half a minute.

This time, Raven stayed under for nearly a minute, and gasped even louder when she broke the surface again. Whatever had caused her to stay under that much longer had clearly shaken her..

Tynel was about to ask her how long she had been diving, but instead his brow creased as he saw the shocked expression she wore. He swam over to her,
"Raven, whats wrong? Is there something down there?"

Breathing in shakily for a few moments to calm down, Raven didn't respond right away. "There's a ship down there..the ship that wrecked with my mother on it...just days before I was born.." she said in a small voice, violet eyes looking past everything around her.

Tynel stared. He honestly didnt know what to say. All he could do was stare, open-mouthed as he tried to make words to express his sorrow for her.
"Raven I-Im so sorry." He swam over to her and put his arms around her shoulders, hoping that she would be ok.

Raven swallowed and closed her eyes, trying not to begin shaking. What had been so bad about seeing the ship again was that she had literally seen what had happened then, as if it had been happening in front of her. She had seen all the sailors die, seen the other passengers die, and finally saw her mother, clinging to life and half-floating on a piece of driftwood, before being picked up finally..only to die three days later, after Raven's birth.
The only sign she gave that she realized that Tynel was there was a murmured, "I'll be al-..alright.."

"Come on, Raven, it'll be alright." he eventually pursuaded her to go back on deck, via a ladder on te side of the boat for that purpose, and they sat at the railing, soaking wet. Tynel's once again offered his comfort as she was obviously still shocked from her encounter.
"It's alright, Raven. Do you want to talk about it?"

It took her a moment to register the question he asked, and when she did, she shook her head. "No..it's too painful." she managed to say, then managed a brief smile. "But thank you for your concern..I'll be alright."

"Ok." was all he said. Tynel gave her a reassuring smile and He then left her to her thoughts and went to go and change into some dry clothes.
((I have to go, but I'll be back tomarrow))

Zenith opened her eyes, exploring the area around her with her senses before she sat up. It was a habbit she learned when she was much younger. Rising gracefully to her feet, she stepped out on deck, noticing Thyiri instantly. Striding over to where the slender Half-breed stood. She hesitated, wanting to start a conversation, but not knowing where to begin. It had never been required of her to make small talk to her superiors or underlings, and she had only ever made one friend before she became Captain. How does one go about starting a friendship, anyway? she thought to herself, albeit a bit crossly.

Um....wouldn't it be kind of hard to have your arms around someone's shoulders while you're both treading water? Lol...just a thought.
---
Dalen sighed as he heard a splash in the water below. Why did I have to get stuck with people who don't seem interested in running the ship? he asked himself. Last night, he had been standing on deck when he realized that he was the only one still up. They didn't even leave anyone to watch...they just assumed I would do it. He glared at nothing in particular, then looked down from the top of the mast where he was standing at the time. It seemed everyone was already up, so he dropped his axe, shield, crossbow and quarrels to the deck below, pulled off his armored over-tunic and dropped that, too. Balancing carefully, he ran lightly out along the boom to the end, swaying a bit before he dived off towards the water. He hit with only a small splash, going straight down for a dozen or so feet before he turned and swam up. When his head broke the surface, he gave a small gasp, then swam towards the side of the ship with powerful strokes. Clambering up the rope ladder on the side, he shook water out of his hair, more alert now than he had been after walking the deck alone all night, but still tired. He glared a little ruefully at his now-soaking shirt and breeches, then walked over and gathered up his weapons and his armor from where he had thrown them. Time for some rest. Maybe the fools he was sailing with could run the ship at least for the short time he would be sleeping.
---
Dalen's been a sailor almost his entire life, so he's not too impressed with everyone else's idea of sailing a ship with six people. I am not calling all of you fools in that post, that's just his opinion, in case anyone didn't realize that.

After Tynel changed into some dry clothes, he found that his boots were gone. Walking with only his socks on, he quickly walked over to his boots which he had left by the railing and put them on. He then spotten a man, one who he remebered to be Dalen, from the other's conversations. Tynel got up and extended his hand toward him.
"Hello, I don't think we've met. I'm Tynel."

Wringing the water out of his shirt, Dalen put it back on, ignoring the wrinkles, and buttoned it up. Now was definately not the time or the place to wring the water out of his breeches, so he let those be, for now (and don't worry, everyone, he's not going to be wringing those out in any post, lol). The man who he had seen fighting on the docks approached him and stuck out his hand as he was about to head belowdecks, and announced himself as Tynel.
"I'm Dalen Felssain," Dalen said, taking the man's hand and giving it a firm shake. "If you don't mind, I'm a little tired, because I spent the night on watch, and the day before I was running from Usurper guards, so I think I'm going to go get some sleep now." He was trying not to be rude, but he was tired, which meant he was grumpy, too, which didn't bode well for others. "If it's okay with you, though, could you do me the pleasure of waking me in three hours?" Dalen thanked Tynel, and, not waiting for an answer, walked down the short flight of stairs to the bunks, and pitched himself down on one, throwing his weapons, armor, and boots down in a pile next to it.

Tynel nodded as the man left. He felt sorry for the man, having remebered that no one asked him to stay on watch. Tynel promised himself that he would keep watch that night. Deciding that he should exercise his arm some more, he got out one of his knives and went to where he was earlier, and once again wacked away at the post, yet this time he produced deeper cuts in the wooden beam. He smiled to himself, at least he was healing quickly.

Thyiri noted Zenith's silence without a grin or a sign of acknowledgement. After a moment she asked casually, still looking out to sea, "They don't trust you, do they?"

Still sitting on the railing where she had been after coming up out of the water, Raven ran her fingers through her hair, trying to work the tangles out of her hair while it was still wet. She quickly realized she was fighting a losing battle, however, and gave up with a soft sigh. Noting how rapidly her clothes had dried, she wished against hope that her hair would one day dry that quickly, but knew that wasn't to be.
Starting to stand up and test out her ankle after stretching it out as she had done, she wavered slightly on her feet, suddenly feeling very strange, and put a hand to her head. Oh, great... now I get sick..
(Sidenote: She's not getting sick.)
