"As you wish, Rain." Aradan called over his shoulder. After leading her down several different hallways, he finally came to a cozy-looking office, to which he pushed the door open. "No one will overhear this conversation in here." he said, explaining his reasoning for choosing this particular room.

Closing the door quietly, Aradan remained standing by the door, and ran a hand through his hair, before leaning against the wall. Smiling in a weary way, he then proceeded to explain everything that had been happening the past few weeks.

Opening the door to the room, Aradan peered out silently, then stepped out as another scream, accompanied by other shouts, was heard nearby. Reaching for his sword, he moved towards the sounds.

Sure enough, before long there was a skittering noise on the floor, like that of many clawed feet moving across the tiled floor. "Aiya..spiders!" Aradan exclaimed, and dodged one of the aforementioned spiders as it lunged at him. Swinging his sword, he quickly killed it, then killed two more that took its place. Clearly, there were a whole lot of spiders..

(And spiders meaning the giant spiders of Mirkwood..)

Eruraina dodged a leaping spider, and spun to stop with her sword in it's abdomen, then with a flick of her rist the spider was flung to the wall and killed. She put her longsword away, and took out her twin swords in a quick moment. She spun and cut another big spider in two. She killed two more that took their places.
"It's like they never stop coming," she said through gritted teeth...

"No-" Aradan began, killing three more with swift swipes of his sword. "kidding." Hearing arrows being fired and the shrieks of dying spiders, he turned his head sharply, and sure enough, his guess was confirmed..Elwen was the one shooting the arrows.

Down the opposite hallway, Meleth whipped around the corner dragging Atalante and fighting off spiders with one hand, which was unfortunately the one injured previously. As they watched the knife fell from her grasp and skittered across the floor, and Meleth let out a cry of rage and turned, pushing Atalante ahead of her away from the spiders.

Eruraina saw the two, and she ran through the spider, fighting them off as they tried to jump ontop of her. She skidded to a halt between Meleth, and the spiders. She fought, and kept the spiders away from them...

Arrows flew hard and fast, and the air was thick with the slash and clang of metal as the two siblings continued to kill the spiders indiscriminately.
