But can't we pretend he was at the Council of Elrond as an extra elf? I don't want Glorfindel to be completely gone from the movie. His name is so fun to say! Almost as fun to say as Prince Imrahil of Dol Amroth!

well he wasnt at Rivendell at all, that's the problem .. he wasn't at the council of elrond. he only showed up at the end of RotK, that's it

GLORFINDEL!!!!! arwen shouldn't have took his horse AND his scene. That's one thing i have to disaggree with in the film.

Glorfindel, because it was HIS role and HIS job, but Arwen was okay I suppose. I mean, it's true that PJ should have stayed truer to the book and all, and that Glorfindel totally should have been allowed to come find Aragorn and co. like the book, but Arwen was alright, no HUGE deal.

Okay never mind it was a GIGANTIC deal. Glorfindel all the way!!

yeah. glorfindel was so awesome in the book i can't believe they cut him out!!! i understand the fact that he does disapper and stuff, but pj could have switched something and made him show up again or something. like he did with other stuff. idk.

But! Arwen needed more scenes! She was hardly in the movie as it was... I think I'm glad that they gave her Glorfindel's scene. I don't think they could have found a guy to do it as brilliant as Liv Taylor did.

I liked Arwen better in the book, like when her and Aragorn gave frodo the Evanstar. that was cool. but i think it would've been better if Glorfindel did it, bacause it would've been truer to the books. BUT that's just my opinion.
