Oh gosh, now I feel terrible because I rushed you. I had no idea I wasn't going to have time to get on for three days! Things just kind of came up if you know what I mean. Now I feel like I should take responsibility for the final result. Sorry JF...

You know, JF. Yours doesn't seem rushed at all. I really like it. *shrugs* Your banners, rushed or not, always have a signature beauty to them

1st: Limwen-Villa. Beautiful! I love the blending the colors, the text. Perfectly balanced.
2nd: Johnny's Fan. What's all the fuss about? This banner is beautiful! A bit simple, and not mind-blowing for sure, but very nicely balanced. The lyrics and picutres just speak for themselves. Any more textures would have made it overcrowded.
3rd: Morwen Anduril. Very different than the others, I liked how you chose that scene and went with it. The effect is very powerful, and just looking at your banner makes me feel a bit sad. The text goes wonderfully with the graphics.
Honourable Mention: Merry & Sam. I like the affect the colors have, they make the overall feeling very sad. The pictures are blended nicely, though the texture of horizontal lines is a bit distracting.

*waves to Kit whenever she appears* I definitely respect Kit's opinions. She's more qualified to judge than I!
And, I would just like to say that I had not discovered the wonders of PNG when I entered my banner. The lines are actually softer when viewed through my program, but because I hosted it as a jpg, they came out thick and distracting. It's not a huge difference...becus I was bein lazy when I made it...

It never worked for me  Kit told me to use png if jpg didn't work. who knows...maybe I'm just weird

Eep! Just had to add something Larael! Then I'll stop invading the thread.
When making graphics, especially when your graphic goes through a lot of layerse and layers of textures or fill layers and you hadn't really sharpened the image throughout your making it --- it's best to save it as .png because it comes out looking more like the graphic you've made in your program than .jpg --- .jpg even though it holds a smaller amount of KB, most of time makes your graphic either more blurry and just less sharp, you're less aware of details with .jpg.
