Halarond laughed at this.
"Tactics and skill will win the day, lady." he said eventually. "they are be in their fortress of Dol Guldor, so this may turn into a seige." his eyes grew dark. "All of the Nazgul were destroyed, but there are similar servants in Dol Guldor."

"No, never as strong as those terrors." Halarond shuddered, for he had seen the Witch King once, and that was enough.
"But an Enemy may have other strenghts and weaknesses than the Nine." he finished.

Aearion's eyes widened as he heard Halarond speak of creatures that were closly similar to the nazgul. He slowly walked over to where they stood, and stood in scilence, waiting to be acknowledged.

Aearion searched his memory for something reguarding the terrors they spoke of. His mind clicked, and he fully remebered of his time in Dul Guldor, and although he was but an infant at the time, the memory was all to clear. And the grusome sight of his mother, being tormented by orcs was his only time he could remember acctually being able to see. His brow creased and his eyes clouded with pain as his mind shot through the time when the orcs had run one of their hidious pronged weapons down his face, and across his eyes. He then nearly jumped as what he was waiting for came, a shreak. High pitched and deafening. His mind then went back to reality. Of course he did not see them, so he could not tell if the screach is what he feared it to be, it could be one of the nine, for they were still known to live in Dul Guldor during the time of his capture. He sighed as he crossed his arms. It looked like he couldn't help anyone in this situation. He lifted his glased-over eyes to where he presumed Halarond to be standing.

"Sir, these...Creatures, do they sound like the nine?"

Halarond rose from his seat with the Lady Eruraina to greet Aearion.
"Ah Lord Aearion, I did not see thee!" he said, bowing to him.
"In answer to your question, do they sound like-" he was cut off, for he had heard that terrible noise.
"I know not, my Lord. We have heard only rumours, strange sightings and so on, so none of us really know what we are up against here." he finished. "It is said that the Nine would return again, but i cannot see that happening. They were destroyed, and I was there when it happened. But it IS possible that lesser wraiths and creatures ALIKE to the Nine are there. But we know not for certain, lord." he finished.
"But please,. be seated with us and help to make our preparations." he bowed once more.

Aearion nodded and sat down beside Halarond, infront of the maps. Aearion vagely wondered weather Halarond knew that he was blind. Aearion considered tellin him, but thought the better of it.

"M' Lord, I hope you do not ask me to help stratigize, for I am not that skilled with maps."

Halarond looked into Aearion's eyes, and saw now that they where slightly whited and did not return his glance. He decided to carry on the conversation, however.
"Whatever help you can grant us, we would be most gratefu, my Lord." Halarond said, seating himself on Aearion's left.
"We were studying maps and plans of Mirkwood. this is a map of southern Mirkwood" he said, explianing what he was holding. "And it shows that there are numerous sentinal outposts around Dol Guldor." he looked at him once more.
"You are from Mirkwood, are you not?" he asked him.

Aearion nodded.

"I am. I do not serve in the guard posts, but I do know where all of our border guards would be - unless they were to run into difficulty. I can also tell you that if you go into Mirkwood through the road on the western border that comes out from Laketown, you will get a much warmer welcome than that of the southern or easter border. And I am guessing that King Thranduil will gladly give you forces if you need them. And I would imagine you will." Aearion did not motion at any of the maps as he spoke, but instead spoke simply with his arms folded across his chest.

I intend to come over the mountains, pss carrock, enter the Greenwood, and come on Dol Guldor secretly from the North" he said
"What think you?" he asked Aearion.
"For if we came the eisier route from the west, we would be surley spotted.

Aearion put a hand to his chin, thinking.

"Aye, that is very true. I think you have a good plan, but I would advise you to order your troops to be causious, becuase of the rising threat of spiders around the palace, the guards there are being very careful on who they let in, or even around their dwelling." He stayed silent for a moment.

"I would gladly go ahead of you, and tell the King that you plan on coming into our borders, but if that is so, I would be much appreciative of some company."

"Indeed." said Halarond.
"But would splitting our forces be wise?" he asked. "Especially with the Spiders. But yes, I would certainly be honoured to accompny thee, but it would be difficult, for I am commander of the army." he finished.

"True..." Aearion thought for a moment, "I suppose I could go alone..." He mumbled quietly, desperatly hoping he would have someone with him, when he was alone he was a target for more than just spiders.
