Lady Eruraina smiled, "Yes, Aearion, I have figured out. Maybe Hen could help you in battle..."
Halarond came up and said what that noise was.
"It was Hen, my golden eagle. He called to me to let me know that he was watching from above... even after so many years I still forget he's always above me..."

"I don't know. I suppose that is up to him" Aearion then became silent as he heard Halarond aproch, he then listed to their conversation, and decieded that it was nothing of interest.

"Ahhh." he said. "We have more allies than we think, lady." he said, bowing to her.

"Well, I have called the men back, but some Elves I have posted as scouts and sentinels further into the woods, in the trees, so no Orc would see them." he said.
"But we must move soon, it will be light soon. I suggest that everyone gets as much rest as they can until morning, then we will go on at a greater pace, for I see now that we are being tracked."

Halarond bowed to her once more as she walked away to her tent.

he turned to Aearion now. "I suggest that you get some rest also, my lord" he said. "Will you let me lead you to your tent? It would do much honour to me." he asked him humbly.

"I do not need the asistance, but I the company would be accepted."

"Of course, forgive me sir." he said, bowing low. "I forget that you had to live with this throughout your life, it is new to me, however." and he laughed now. And led the way to Aearion's tent, speaking with him gaily.

After they reached his tent, Aearion bid Halarond farewell, and then found his way around to his bedroll and quickly layed down and sighed. It had been a long day, not barely phisicly, but mentaly. Two people had figured his blindness, and their camp had been attacked, and he was mentally worn. Without closing his sightless eyes he drifted off into a deep, dreamless sleep.

Halarond headed back to his tent, but not before posting three elves around Aearion's tent for his safety. Not too close so Aearion would notice however. He was a prideful Elf, and Halarond knew it.
When he got back to his tent, he washed, took of his armour and slept the few hours until morning.

Aearion woke the next morning to the sound of birds chirping, mixed in with Hen quietly shreeking as all eagles do. He sighed and streached out his limbs, then got up and found that he had fallen asleep in his day clothes, so he then searched for his sword and knife where he had put them the evening before. He then slowly walked out of his tent, completely oblivious to the elves surrounding the tent.

Halarone awoke, refreshed, although he had only a few hours sleep. But Elves are a resiliant folk.
He rose, donned his armour, sword and cloak and went outside. The sun was just creeping over the tree-tops, and already the camp was alive like a nest of ants, busying themselves with packing tents down, and getting stuff together.
Halarond went over to the place where they were making the plans the night before. Some of his Leutenants were already there.

Aearion headed to an area that had a particular buzz of exitment, once he reached his destination, he relized that it was where he had been the night before, where Halarond and Eruraina had been making plans for the siege on Dul Guldor. He dropped his head and crossed his arms, and although there was no need, he closed his eyes and tried to understand the basic conversation that was taking place, he heard several men talking about the southern border, and it's heavy guards. Aearion sighed. They were planning exactly opposite of what Aearion had told Halarond the night before. He was about to step in, when Halarond arrived.

"Greetings and good morning, Gentlemen!" Halarond said, striding forwards.
"good morning, my Lord" he said to Aearion. "I hope you slept well? And more importantley, are you ready to ride? That is if you still want to go on with your plan?"

Aearion nodded,

"Yes, I rested well, Lord Halarond, but I do not know if these men have yet heard your plan to ride over to the northern border, or I am terribly mistaken. They speak much of the southern and easter borders. But yes, I myself am quite ready to ride." Aearion bowed slightly and gave a quick smile.

"Indeed I have not informed the army of my departure." he said. With that he turned to his Leutenant. "Tell the Lady Euiraina that she will be in charge of the army." he paused "Unless... she may well want to accompany us. We will wait until she has joined us, then we will decide, methinks." he said.

"Yes, I think that is the best plan. But in the meantime, I need to brush up on my swordmanship, for it may be needed. Would you come and help me practice, Lord Halarond?"
